Could someone tell me how wide the inside of a 1/28* trailer is? I found something that would make a cool Roller but I think it may be too wide

*I'm looking for a trailer for TFTM Leader Prime, and I believe the right size trailer would be 1/28. Correct me if I'm wrong here.

A 1:28 trailer would be too big, in order for it to work, Prime would have to be in scale with an Alternator.

A 1:30/1:32 trailer would probobly be your best bet.

    Alts are 1:24, SPLIT.

Like SPLIT LIP said, Prime is close to 1:32

A good way to judge would be that the trailer you use would need to be about the same width as Prime's cab...

Actually, after some exhaustive research and some simple math, leader Prime is 1/29 scale. Trust me on this one, I know trucks because I drive them. The key to figuring out Prime's scale is his width. Trucks his size are built to a D.O.T. standard of 96 inches wide. In fact, that's the measurement to use to calculate scale on any toy truck. Width, not length.

The trailer in that thread looks to be about the same width as the cab....I was hoping a properly scaled cab would be just a tad wider...

From what Xeltecon said, a 1/28 trailer was just too big, whereas the 1/32 looked just right. I'm not saying your measurements are wrong, but perhaps Leader Prime just isn't a perfectly scaled truck, hence his width may work out to be 1/29, but his height and length != 1/29
