I was bored. I was sick of looking at the disappointing hasbro reissues, so I am ripping them out of their boxes and implanting them in new, luxury style prisons made you yours truley. Here's is the mockup, nice printing tomorrow.

Thats how I always felt, the others take up too much room. I am collecting blisters and E-hobby's to switch em all out. I will have a complete boxed collection, one way or another.

If you don't mind my asking, what exactly did you do to end up there? I might want to take up a project like this for a few of my customs and favorite figs.

I have the photoshop template if you want it. Its huge, 400+ meg at 400dpi, so I would have to mail it. Every single piece is a layer so you can alter it any way you want. I have the .eps files for the grids so you can add and subtract em to change box sizes. I am making seeker boxes next so I should have those ready. The fonts are close, I have perfect match ones but I am not trying to copy originals so I didn't use em. I have some cool stuff to go with it like every G1 boxart pic in high res, including several from original copies or transparencies I love collecting. All the newer boxart are cleaned up and I removed the stickers, name boxes and warnings covering them that were the biggest pain in the ass. So you'd save a ton of time. Problem is finding someone capable of printing them on acceptable size cardstock or board that doesn't require a run of 100 or more. I though of fusing 2 thin cardstock boards and mounting a print on it, but that would be el-cheapo. So I don't know how useful the file would be unless you making small boxes.

    *ORDER'D*

ha. I'd love to get some replacement boxes for my 80s and 90s stuff out of this. Not reproductions of the originals -- nice updates like with the IDW art <3

I figured out a way to make the boxes and hopefully they'll come out acceptable, but the dumbass's at Kinko's screwed up the prints again, so I am going to have to go back, a THIRD time. aggrevating. Anyway I should have one near perfect one done tonight with toy and all.

BTW, here's the hoist box almost done

you know the one thing that sucks about having great box art? It makes the toys a bit of a disappointment when you find out they cant do poses like that :lol

prowl can just about do smokescreen's pose but he looks strange.

shame hasbro didn't do this. better for storage and more relative to the size of the toy
