McRib is Back for 2011 (U.S)

    Appears the McRib went on sale stateside as of 10/17/2011. This web site lists sightings of the tasty (purely opinion based) morsel! I myself love them and always look forward to this time of year when I can grab a McRib(s) and veg out on the couch watching football/movies.

    Not a real big fan of the McRib but I know a few people that will be happy with this.

    What they need to bring back is the McDLT.

    well from working at the joint as a teen back in the day,plus still knowing people to this day the offical dates for mcrib is mid oct till the end of dec .sad to say i cant get enough of them when they are available but i get it with no sauce

    Back on topic, the McRib is great. And a good marketing idea to make it available once the real barbecue season* is over.




    * Expiration of "real barbecue season" may vary or not exist in more southern climes.

    I had my first McRib last year, and honestly, I don't really understand the hype. Still, I'll probably have one sometime this year. Only specialty item I would ever want them to include on the yearly menu, would be the shamrock shake.

    They had the McRib here in Canada, only for a short time (during the summer). Tried one, 'tis awesome.

    Several years ago, I used to work with a girl who stopped by McDonalds to get a McRib on her way to work.

    She told me she is taking it back when she gets off from work. She said the McRib was not fully cooked.

    i love the mcrib, got to go get me one with no onions

    my dad actually was one of the original taste testers for the sandwhich, it originally had a different sauce but him and several other people suggested to change it and now the mcrib is what it is now

    I remember they had these for a while when I used to work at McDonalds back in high school. Then they made the McRib Jr and it confused everyone. It had no onions on it and it was on a regular hamburger bun. It was weird. The meat wasn't even shaped like a fake rib, more like a flat, porky McNugget.
