It's been a year and a half since Mijo wrote chapter 5 of his MB Transformers history on 20thCenturyToyCollector, but for those who take an interest in the early European era of G1 when Ceji Joustra Diaclone was morphing into The Transformers and we started to get beautiful variants like the MB Red Tracks and MB "Thunderscream", it will have been worth every second. Mijo produces the goods again with yet more evidence as to why European Transformers are the best kept secret of Transformers variant collecting.

Let the master show you how it's done :)

I've simultaneously incorporated his research, findings and help into updating my own MB Transformers article and will add that to TF-1 in the near future.

The really cool thing about Mijo's articles is that even if you can see the twist coming from a mile away, you don't care because it's just so much fun reading the build-up leading up to it.

That is so beautiful in a horrific way. The few of these I have seen, I must credit the owners for having been so imaginative with the Sideswipe sticker placement. Of all the ones found, I think my own main one had the least imaginative stickersheet application, the owner was clearly totally baffled by the packaging and paperwork mixup :lol
