Here's a few size comparison pictures.
More pics! Moar!
Great pics with the Dreadnoks - I can see this quickly becoming a crossover success with GI Joe fans too. I'm looking at black and yellow Joes that would go well with the bike, like movie Kamakura or Agent Helix. But Road Pig looks like he's owning it too.
Come on, shipping notice!
love Captain Jack riding the bike! Thanks for sharing these, makes the wait a little easier!
My Bastard arrived in the US (Texas) today. Was only able to get it opened, but not transformed, but it feels very nice in hand.
Nice! Hopefully the rest of us in the US will have ours soon.
I dont use Facebook but i wanted to let @CZ Hazard know that my package arrived. It actually arrived 2 days ago and i just picked it up.
The box was in perfect shape and the figure was undamaged. The only thing I see is there are no instructions. There was a patch
in the box and a smaller tray of weapon and head pieces. The figure itself is glorious. Looks and feels amazing in hand.
The instructions are a video posted elsewhere in the thread. I really do hope that they consider more traditional instructions though.
Received my package today. Can't wait to open it up tonight!
Still waiting for mine to arrive..........ugh
Is there any concern with that thin plastic at the shin?
None at all. It was fine in resin and fine as test-shots (which we played with / stress tested a lot!), and we've used quality virgin ABS plastics throughout.
That said I'm sure if someone wanted to, they could break it, but it shouldn't be a problem for normal transformation and play.
Had some time to play with it last night, and here's a few thoughts:
Transformation is mostly simple with a couple non-intuitive twists and turns. had to watch the video twice to get the prospect transformation correct, but all of that could be chalked up to me not being great at figuring out transformations on my own.
My prospect had a misassembled arm - one was pinned in backwards at the upper elbow joint, meaning it wouldn't fold up enough for transformation. I pushed the pin out easily, though, with an unfolded paper clip, and got it back in just as easy.
The weapons peg into the hands really well, super secure.
Plastic and overall quality is very good -MMC/Maketoys/Fansproject/etc quality stuff.
Joints are fine - not super tight, but none were loose. A few could stand to be tighter, but nothing to complain about.
I felt like things were not going to tab and hold together on the completed big robot, especially in the torso/chest - but once you get the prospect in and everything together, it holds together well and is pretty great to pose and play with. The peg where the head pegs into the prospect is probably the biggest issue - it tends to come undone if the chest is pushed on too much (happened a lot when I was attaching the long guns to the c-clips on the back).
Paint and tampo applications are clean, but there's not many.
Overall, I like it a lot and am looking forward to what MM puts out next.
Dr Pockets is a great name.
I haven't honestly noticed it in hand as been thin. The plastic feels great in hand, it isn't a hard plastic so has plenty of give, very durable.
I'd REALLY love to get one or two if these, but I'm afraid my budget won't allow for them right now.
Virgin plastic, what, you couldn't find some plastic with a little experience?!
Very, very impressed. Sat in the boozer earlier showing this off to my mate, and a few other people who were curious got an education in Kickstarter.
Bravo to all involved. A hell of a lot of fun here. Can't wait to get tonight's shift over with for a full on play session.
Initial thoughts, though? Chuffed so far. I got the Unrustables Prospect figure as well so have a vast array of chest plates and weapons (and limbs!)to utilise in addition to what came in the box, as well as the additional little fella who may well end up being my first proper custom.
Love the articulation, transformation is intuitive (only issue I had was aligning the riders feet for the chest mode, other than that I worked it out over a pint), plastic is the good stuff and the amount of options for play and display are bountiful.
Got notification that my Bastard was caught by customs which means I have to invest an additional $30 in taxes and fess as well as put aside 2 hours and $10 in gas money to get it from the customs office. Oh joy.
Even after all that I'm still really looking forward having it in hand finally.
