Yama Zuki concepts can be found in the TF Con slides.

It's very different from the early concept picture they released ages ago.

Yeah this new design may take awhile for me to come around to. They look a lot less lean and mean ninja and more stocky brawny samurai. They kinda remind me of Scooter from Gobots.

Yeah I wonder what's up with the schematic view. Does this mean that the inner robot comes apart and stores the different body parts in the toy or is this just to show that the Yamazukis have fused with their mech suits?

wasn't very sold on it until I saw the crimson kings design. Has a sort of sea diver look to it.

Digging the Yamazukis a lot! They're very different from what I was expecting, but in a neat way. Only issue is I can't decide which of the variants I like the most.

I recon it's the latter. Looking at the elbows, they seem to be pinned in with no way of really removing them and there's nowhere where the shoulders/biceps or the legs could realistically fit. I also assume the visible helmets in bike mode are there to imply they retain full control over their alt forms and no need for a separate rider.

I have a big problem with the proportions

The torso is so squat there's no stomach area - the hips are damn near in his chest

    It's a totally awkward look

Is there room for an extending torso to elongate it?

Right now it looks like a deformed fire hydrant

I get the helmet design - like a blend of samurai and biker helmet

But the lower half of the figure doesn't work for me

I wish I could get behind the design of the Yamazukis but I don't like it at all. I guess being able to use the standard bastard or the combined mode to ride the bike is cool, but still not liking the design overall.

I'll patiently wait on the Enforcers to get toys.

And that's the nail on the head. I'll hold my tongue until the new thread though. I think they can be salvaged but its no where near as good as the bastards.

Speaking of which I dropped in here to say the new prototype is looking great. I also wanted to ask if the prospect figure is going to be sold in the store. I've warmed up to the idea of having the vet without a bike who minds the base while the other guys ride.

I think a chest that can extend for bot mode would solve a lot

Also if possible hip skirts to cover those hip joints would help hide the leg length

    YAMAZUKI THREAD IS UP

Let us know what you think!

Yeah, Prospect / Brasso is already listed in the store ready to go! He holds down the base and acts as bartender / mentor figure for some of the Prospects.

CZ, I sent an email but I guess everyone's at TFCON. If I'm a kickstarter backer and later bought a prospect tori the store, will the two orders be combined automatically?

Nah, they'd ship separately and the shipping would be calculated separately also, at the checkouts.

Can I combine them? Not a huge deal, probably only save a few bucks shipping

No we can't combine shipping, they are separate orders from separate purchasing locations with separate shipping agents.

Having examined it in person, I really liked how the rider became the chest of the robot. I had kind of assumed he just tacked on, like a Powermaster, but it really completes the structure of the upper body in a way that makes them much more integral to the robot mode. It was a little bigger than I'd like, but it's a really top-notch looking piece, and I'm really looking forward to getting that final in my hands at last. :)

How difficult is it to assemble? Would it be possible to release painted upgrade kits with different colour/armor designs for u to switch out and customize your bastards further?
