    From the Mayhem Mekanics webpage:

    Get Ready for Prospect Week!
The Blog, The Product / By Axel

For one week only we are celebrating what it means to be a Prospect. Hazing, the worst tasks and the hope for Glory to get patched into the Gang. Show us your custom Prospects for a chance to win a new Prospect figure from us. Send us all your custom prospect photos to info@mayhemmekanics.com and we will showcase all the Prospects sent to us.

At the same time you can enjoy both Black and White prospect figures for HALF PRICE! That is right, for 7 days only, from May 21st to May 27th you can get a Prospect for only $17.50 each! Pick up a prospect and make a custom to get ready for our next Prospect week!

LINK: Get Ready for Prospect Week!
    >>>>>>>>>>

I will be picking up 2 SR/White Prospects, 1 UB/Black Prospect, and another 'Arsenal Pack'.

My goal by the end of the year is to have:
    T1: Tellu-Ride Prototype 'Bastard'
    OTOMO: Crimson Chanbara Mercenary
A full 7 set of 'biked' Bastards with 2 Prospects.
A growing squad of Spector Rogues with 5 'biked' Rogues and 4 Prospects.
    3 Arsenal Packs for "shiggles".

    Still love these figures.

Ill pick up 2 of the prospects tomorrow and eventually a Spector Rogue.

Im gonna paint an Axle Face Mask white for the Rogue.

The bikes ride too low for me to accept them to ride on uneven dirt roads or paths as the “official” canon suggests. Instead my head canon is that these are yet another Cybertronian life form that lives along the endless smooth tunnels of the underground network on Cybertron. Neither Autobot nor Decepticon, this secretive community occasionally makes raids on both factions in search of supplies, tech, energon, and information.

I imagine the Bastards might be the distant kin of the Junkions before their eventual explorative departure millions of years ago.

The covers are pretty easy to take off as they are held in with friction. Use a piece of t-shirt over the end of your flat head screwdriver to pry it out if you are concerned about scratching it but I have removed several of them without incident.

I might pick up a black prospect now that they're on sale for a week.

    More weapon play

I've been using mine as Junkions (a new, more unstable breed) occasionally.

So the Discounted Prospect pricing is live.

I ordered 2 Prospects (White/Black) and the Weapon Accessory Pack for under $62 shipped.

    Pretty good deal!

The 'black' Prospects are the same dark grey as the one with the retail Bastards, right? Tempted to get one for my Otomo so it can have a dark rider to break up the colour scheme.

    Great Pics!

Spector Rogue is very white. Im looking forward to getting one to pair w my standard Bastard, but it surprises me that Mayhem Mekanics deliberately chose such little contrast in the color scheme.

Fortunately the mold is so great that it doesnt really matter what color it is (Prototype Purple?!), its pretty bad ass.

Im looking forward to the other figures Mayhem Mekanics has planned.

    Haha thank you!!

Agreed on the white with little contrast. They have a sale on the prospect so I bought the black one. I'll see how it looks instead of the white chest.

As posted above, I ordered one of each of the white and black Prospects. Im gonna paint the white vented swappable chest pieces a “Bolt Gun Metal” color. Maybe even a brighter silver. Something that contrasts w the white but not too dark. Without any other darker grey on the figure, I think the swappable grey chests will look out of place.

At $17.50, the white Prospect became a “no brainer” for me.

Adding a painted Axle Mask should add further color break up Im hoping.

Thats a great deal right there. Spector Rogues are on sale too. (So wish I could afford another right now!)

Fun fact, I realized tonight that the Prospects can hold Lego accessories. Granted the fit is tight (like s tiger -BSF) but options can be fun.

Just be careful not to stress the Prospect hands.

My Prospect's kinda dumb. He'll rather shoot at the extinguisher after throwing it in the fire. Just needs hands to throw :D
