Yesterday. You ordered 2 weeks ago? You get yours in already?
Well, damn. That’s concerning for me but at least you got yours.
I didn't get tracking numbers at first but dropped them a message and they sent me tracking info. Maybe just drop them an email.
Diamond Comics is now offering these to comic shops!
Oh wow, when did the weapon packs go up? I was waiting for those.
They haven't yet, but then I only placed the order on the 2nd and I live in the UK, so there's half a chance customs will hold it for a few days before I get the notification I need to pay the charges.
Edit: Think I misunderstood the question. Not sure when they were added to the site, but they were brought to my attention on the 2nd by someone else posting here.
Semi off topic, but I'm just seeing pics of the Regulators thanks to Daimchoc's Facebook page. I like these more than the Yamazukis and think they fit better with the Bastards currently out. Are these a part of the Bastard universe or just a design Cassy thought was cool?
Those do look exciting.
Wow, he's got all his ducks in a row.
It's a pain in the ass to post all the photos in the FB album here, but instead:
ETA: Oh, but who do we have here? Cassy Sark
All of the ones I found. I want Lobo.
my unrustable arrived a few days ago, and the first thing he did was try out a new ride.
like I suspected, sport bikes work well for them.
he has since returned to his own more comfortable bike though, and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of a pair of swords and some new faces.
until then he'll have his shotguns mounted on his bike.
Ironically the Regulators are the ones I want the most out of anything he's done so far, and they're still a "maybe" on whether he will even do them or not. Though if they do happen, I hope the core three will get a bit more variety, or better heads. The ones right now might be a bit too human.
If the whole rest of the line is dependent on crowdsourcing for production, the proposed queue puts the Regulators around a decade away. Hopefully, with the introduction of fiction and a successful second Kickstarter, the line can be self-sustaining and pick up production speed. It'd be encouraging to see independent toy lines become viable.
These new guys look a heck of a lot better than the Yamazakis. Like why aren't these next in line?
They look designed for parts swapping to make it easy to create visual differences between the them all. The gun holster was exactly what I wanted to see on the bastards. I very much appreciate the general design boiling down to strapping a big ass rocket on the back of a bike. The weapon arms being entirely different between ever bot is great. The new rider mold looks more promising than the bastards riders boasting better proportions and more color breakup. Of course the while flying variant absolutely steals the show.
Some design feedback and ideas:
For the flying variant there needs to be a plastic piece that supports the entire bike in the middle like the little piece that comes with the MMC azalea molds to give the illusion that it is hovering. Failing that, there needs to be a built in hole for a stand to peg into. Anything that hovers needs to have these things as standard to be honest.
The legs look like big tree trunks in robot mode because they don't really change silhouettes. Something needs to be done to liven them up a little.
The backpack just has the forks of the bike flop down behind it. The wheel looks like it lodges into the back and the handlebars/forks flop down. There needs to some way to scrunch the forks down with a sliding/spring mechanism to clean the back up some more. Keep it clean!
This would go great with flame effect parts for the bikes.
Not robo Lobo needs to be using the flying bike design. No exceptions.
Those name badges need to go.
The proportions are a little jank but I'll let it slide.
Some good points @Tiller
I think Lobo would fit best with the hoverbike (with a stand).
I'm actually kind of conflicted now. I like the design of the Regulators a lot more than I do the Yamazuki drones, not just because of the aesthetics of both modes but also the fact that it continues the rider combination gimmick of the Bastards which I think of as the line's USP. I was going to skip the police car anyway because I'm in this for the bikes, and now I'm thinking that I'll only get the bikes with combining riders, but my concern is that if each figure is Kickstarted and I don't support the drones and they don't make it, that'll kibbosh the rest of the planned Unrustables line.
