With Vector's passing and this contest for Kitbashes, I thought I would try my hand at doing a kitbash. I don't normally do kitbashes but I figured at least giving it a shot would be in the spirit. I thought if I could make something half-decent, then I would try to wrangle up a contest entry. So here we go... the MAYHEM ATTACK "HERO SQUAD"! For those who don't know, HERO SQUAD is the marvel version of ROBT HEROES for Transformers. They are fully articulated and can wiggle about in many fun poses. Here is a Front Shot! Back Shot! Battling with the Autobot Pretenders! So let me know what you think. I may try to do more. Maybe some Autobot Pretenders, and also going to try to do the 3 decepticon CONEHEAD jets. I Might make a custom Ultra Magnus Alternator Robot Hero in honor of Vector if I can sculpt something good.
Octopunch = Spidey Bludgeon = Ghost Rider Strangehold = Punisher They actually came in a 4-pack! I am looking for dudes to do the 3 autobot Pretenders and Starscream.
look cool, but not sure they are eligable for the comp cos im pretty sure they have to transform to enter. still cool tho JL
Holy christ, you win. I've wanted a Bludgeon RH since we saw the first inklings of the line, and you have shown exactly why.
Brilliant stuff. I'm not a fan of the RH line myself, but those fellas look great. And I'd never have guessed what they were based on...
Those are awesome man! They certainly don't look like a first attempt! The phrases are great too, Octopunch's is my favorite.
I used to Sculpt Warhammer figs and paint. Here is a 54mm custom ork and my Feral Ork Warboss, I game in very high in a grand tournament with my Feral orks. Bludgeon has articulation at the shoulders and the head, Octopunch has articulation at the shoulders and the hips. Strangehold has articulation at the hips and shoulders. I am going to work on the Conehead trio next, Just to see how they end up. I got 3 starscreams to chop up!
I love the Superhero Squad/Galactic Heroes/Robot Heroes overall. I do have an issue with the arm breaking off my son's new Spider-Man the first time we tried to move it. It's now glued in place. Wonder if that one was in the package/on the shelf too long. The other arm moved fine.
