Does anyone here think or hope that FP will make appendage kits for the other 2 combiners? I know out of all 3 Superion was the most lacking, poor articulation and no hands to speak of, but who feels that the other Maximus molds could use some improvements?

Classics Devastator predated the whole add-on craze.

All three of the energon gestalts have LOTS of great hidden pose-ability. I would love to see add on kits for Devastator and Bruticus. The one for Superion looks so nice, we need to make the other two look just as good.

    They're not needed.

    At all.

Both Devastator and Bruticus are highly stable, with articulated hands and elbows.

Gah. People need to stop whining about them.

    ^^ This.^^

Both of Devastator's limbs make excellent arms or legs. The tanks of Bruticus make excellent arms and the chopper's are good legs and feet, though they could use some improvement, it isn't enough to warrant an entire add-on kit. Superion was the best choice as neither set of limbs made very good arms or hands.

I could potentially see one for Bruticus, but Devs doesn't need one at all.

While I really dig Devy's faked-out-mitten-mode, and I think Bruticus's limbs ain't bad, I really can't abide by the whole "Omni-Con Energon Forger" clear-plastic hands and feet. Yeah, I'm old and out of touch, but I just want hands and feet that look like steel hands and feet, durn it!

And they did SUCH a good job of executing the first set (Especially in terms of "dressing up" the alt modes), I'd love to see what they could do with the other two....

Actually, sans energon limbs, the helicopter feet are really, really stable.

I was thinking more like a City Commander type thing. For example make a cement mixer for Mixmaster that has a different pop on head inside and then the mixer can stick on the back or something

I don't think Appendage Kits would be as vital for the other two combiners as they were for Superion and, even if they were released, I'm not sure they'd be high on my purchase list.

That said, I think Devastator could use a set more than Bruticus. Using the "cranes as arms/wheeloaders as legs" set up, Devastator has stable feet and can be posed to have functional elbows. The only real issue he has, IMO, is the lack of true hands. I'd like to see an appendage set for Devastator that had "gauntlets" with hands that could attach to the cranes and, maybe, a G1-style chest plate that could peg into the chest as well.

As for Bruticus, he can easily be positioned to have elbows, has stable feet and the Energon weapons are excellent hands when using the helicopters as arms. He doesn't need an upgrade set, IMO.

Um...they all predated the whole add-on craze. :peoples:

In response to the original question(s):

Do I think they will? No.

Do I hope they will? Yes. Not holding my breath, though.

if they do for the other two, hopefully combine scantron's idea into one package since it doesn't need as much as superion did, and keep the price the same so you can upgrade both figs for 50,

The molds do not really need them, then again it would hurt.

All three gestalts could get decent pose-ability without the appendage kit. But what's nice about the apendage kit, is that it gives them ACTUAL hands and feet. As well as a nice looking gun. So I say the other two DO in fact need appendage kits as well.
