I'm suddenly worried about the paint on my Transformers, especially my Titaniums.

You should be ok as long as you don't lick them a bunch or rub them obsessively.

Difficult, I know, but DAMMIT show some restraint.

I've been licking my toys all week, hoping to get lucky. Other than the weird looks from my wife, I havn't had any problems.

On a serious note, this is not a good trend.

Tis only Mattel so far though so we shouldn't worry about TFs until Hasbro has the same issues hehe.

    DAMN. This is nuts!

So anyways, does anyone have info on exactly WHICH Batman toys are being recalled? I only own 2 Mattel Batman figures and Mattel made a BUNCH of Batman stuff in the past couple of years. Help please.

    Whew! Safe so far...

Here are the recalled Batman Figures: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07269.html

They were recalled because: "Small, powerful magnets inside the accessories of the toy figures can fall out and be swallowed or aspirated by young children. If more than one magnet is swallowed, they can attract inside the body and cause intestinal perforation, infection or blockage which can be fatal."

And here is the CPSC's website: http://www.cpsc.gov/

Looks like the number 1 toy company will make a sudden drop! I predict a bad holiday season for Mattel. Hasbro FTW!

Only if hasbro gets their ass in gear, and has product out on the shelves for parents to buy.

They still won't completely sink unless Hotwheels and Barbie get added to that list. It'll hurt 'em, but not sink 'em. Also, our TFs have House of Colors automotive paints, so we shouldn't have any worries. I'm getting a kick (but haven't ruled out) out off the people ranting and screaming that there's a Chinese conspiracy to kill us. First it was said that the tainted cat food ingredient was meant for human consumption, and now people are saying they're trying to kill our kids. ...I don't really have anything to add to that, that would make me a bigger smart ass that I already am.

    Wow. Not even Batman's safe.

Though, I guess the MIB Mattel collectors are happy...
