Comic-con had an Egon and Peter on display with the slime details on their costumes, and also versions without. The Egon for sale had the slime on the suit. So my question is...how do I get the versions with the clean costumes? I don't like 'battle damaged' action figures.

Good question. That bums me out too. I'd rather have them without the slime. Especially Peter. He looks doused with the goop. But I can only get Slimer with the upcoming Egon pack, so I'm gonna grab it anyway, but I too would like slime free Ghostbusters. I didn't know they showed them without the slime. That gives me hope.

    Here are my theories:

Egon w/slime was actually an SDCC version

The matty one might not have it

Leaving slimy Peter to be a convention exclusive for Toy fair maybe.

Or maybe there's a boxed set without slime. I'd rather do that.

I believe they said that the slimy Egon was an SDCC exclusive, and the ONLY TIME Slimer would be offered. The regular one would be non-slimed, and less Slimer.

The Egon that's about to be for sale on mattycollector is the slimed version, there will be non-versions coming later. Judging from Mattel, an indefinite coming soon that will actually be available in like 2 years from now, and we'll all miss out on getting one because their stupid exclusive ordering system on their site sucks.

    YEAH, TAKE THAT MATTEL! ;)
