    Considering the shipping cost, plus the extra fee FedEx charges for Canadians, the retail price is worth it.

    I hope by some sort of miracle I can get one of these sets.

    Otherwise it's gonna take like 2 years to get all the individual sets :(

    Any idea of the "actual" price that these will sell for? I know the list price, but the list price for most DVD's is like $30 and then they sell for $15-20 when they come out. I hope this set will be cheaper... also, how wide of a release do you think it will be? Will it be at BestBuy or Target?

    This is great news! The wider the release, the easier it will be to get used & cheaper. Keep pumping them out! Flood the market!

    I put off getting the box sets years ago as i like having one big box. Just ordered mine, and i can't wait for it to get here. It's at $140 on the site right now.

    It may take a year or two, but I'd bet you can get it for around that price, maybe even cheaper. That's pretty much the price I'm shooting for as well.

    Just wondering, is this Region 1 or Region 0 (all)? If it's 1, does anyone know if they'll release a Region 2 version for Europe? You know... we also like Transformers and stuff.

    The Metrodome boxset was Region 0 (all), but I saw that Season 1 from Shout Factory is Region 1 in Amazon. Maybe it was an error in the page...

    I guess this set only contains the 98 epds from Seasons 1 to 4?! It doesn't seem like Headmaster, Super-God Masterforce or even Victory are included?!?! Can anyone find these 3 series with English dub anywhere? Thanks.

    Indeed it's just the american series, without the movie. There's a Metrodome boxset for the Japanese G1 series, which is those 3 you said plus the Zone episode. You can find it at amazon. It's the Metrodome Takara collection. I have it :)  . They included the English dub on Headmasters, but it's really terrible, you should watch it in Japanese with english subtitles.

    Cool to hear. Now I'm conflicted if I want to buy it separately or get the box set. So decisions...decisions, but it'll won't matter to me what I do I'll still get them and if its a slower pace then I'm cool with it.

    Yeah 170 is way to much. I guess your paying over 80 bucks for the packaging and handful of extras.

    The price is too steap for me, especially considering I already own Season 1. I'll just wait for the rest of the individual seasons to be released.
