YouTube - Maths In The Movies (Part 2 of 2)
Oh yeah? WELL MATHS IS FOR DORKS
Maybe the teleport took longer than it seemed in the film ?
Haha I didn't even notice that till now.
Pretty much how I felt about this video
j/k never noticed that before though. Maybe it did take longer.
Hmmm applying math into a film about giant sentient robots, hmmmmmmmm?
I don't think mathematics can save this film.
OOOOooooooor there was an utter and complete lack of fact checking and continuity in the film? A possibility maybe? Perhaps a little bit of a rush job to keep things on schedule for some explosions? Maybe a director that wanted another car for a certain actress to wash? Maybe a little bit of a lack of basic mathematical knowledge? Maybe a staff that didn't quite "finish" high school? Maybe a total disregard for the intelligence of the audience that cost the creative staff a lot of respect from the core demographic and the critical body on whole? Naw, naw he's doing a great job it's an excellent film.
Add another thing to the list of "Things Wrong With ROTF"
Wow an FAB and Voyager, I see they really sprung with a big budget.
Or maybe it's not that goddamn important to begin with.
Psshh. Like it NEEDS saving
It was just a simple mistake, it happens in movies.
It's not like Bay and crew were like "Ok, now we're gonna make it so that it's the same time of day when they go through the Space Bridge, just to fuck with people that take stuff in movies WAAYYY too seriously"
Although if that's the reason they did it, then my respect for Bay will go up another 10 points xD
Hm. Didn't notice that. Now that's going to bug me.
Sad thing is, I know you're right
Because the failure to take into account Earth's rotation in a movie about teleporting space robots totally means the end of civilized life as we know it.
Hmmmmmm, Maybe your being a bit picky? Refusing to use your brain? Wanting a movie to show everything in your face not leaving any small things that can be solved with a bit of brain power? Expecting a summer action movie to be 100% correct? Maybe somebody who likes to pick things apart till no one could possibly enjoy it? Maybe just making a movie that anyone can enjoy? Perhaps they were rushed, and things got under the radar. Or maybe you should just watch the thing, and as i've stated before, REALIZE IT IS A SUMMER ACTION MOVIE BY MICHEAL BAY BASED OFF OF A TOY LINE FROM THE 80'S. Naw, naw, your totally being reasonable.
SpoonsTheSeconds has WON!
Seriously though it's just a movie.
SpoonsTheSecond, lord of logic.
