F-22 Raptor Engineer Prevents Crash By Causing One
Kudos to the guy in the mini-van. It is nice to read about the few selfless people still out there.
Math: Because there's safety in numbers.
Bet his wife was bitching at him the whole time
Major Kudos to the guy for using math. I hate Math and hope I never have to use it in a real life situation.
Um... Although it does takes very physics to think of how to slow a vehicle down. It can be done for any vehicle, depending on it weight and speed. Without the facts and figures it's hard to know how much is really math is involved. A news story a long while back told of an officer slowing a car down the same way, without causing a crash or crediting math. It good, but to me it feels too hyped.
he was really trying to take out his wife, right? the numbers didn't work out for him ~ j/k
Article states the portion of the engineer's van that he let the pickup crash into was occupied by engineer guy's family. I wonder what the public response would've been if any of said family members were killed or injured, let alone the responses of surviving family members.
Delta difference? Damn eggheads
I actually thought the crash involved an f22 and went wtf? N i dont think u need to be a friggin brainiac to think of slowing that car by letting it bump your rear. A nascar fan coulda thought o that.
I am willing to bet you that you already do.
I would bet that this really wasn't a case of quick math, but quick "Engineering Judgement". See Rev A, Appendix A for Full Substantiation.
If it did involve an F-22, we Transformers nerds would never shut up about the fact that movie Starscream is one.
