I got their Snake headrobot. Perfect order.

 

I don't think I have even put Sidearm in Hot Rodimus' Hand yet. I had it with Spacecase for ages mind. I don't use it much with the protector armour as it's a wee bit to small for him.

There's is a nice way of fitting it in the place his head stores though.

 

So for the master shooter for Spinister, i don't suppose they combine like the G1 versions.

 

Yeah, I'm aware of why. Just saying as a comparison between Sidearm and Bolt Action. Sidearm connects to the spoiler, but Rodimus has trouble holding him. Where as Bolt Action can be held straight, but only attached to the vehicle by flipping up the back ( or maybe on the engine of the United version ). I was saying the trade off of having the positive in vehicle mode meant having the negative of the bot mode. I wasn't making a correlation between the spoiler cut and the grip.

...and that's why I've been holding off. Like you, not trying to stir crap up, just saying that I find it distracting (once you see it, you can't un-see it!)

 

I'm sure this will be taken as biased by some folks - and admittedly, I do have an interest in seeing these sell well, so I can see why they might take it that way. But, as a collector, I've seen it too, and I just really...don't care. Whatever it's interpreted as, it just doesn't really bother me, I simply gloss over it as another bit of detailing. Even if it *did* start out with some ulterior motive (I haven't asked, I'd frankly rather stay out of it), I don't really feel like anything is being shoved in my face or that I am endorsing anything by owning it.

 

Preordered the exclusive sets - can't wait to see these in person!

It's possible, but by no means guaranteed. Basically, MasterShooter is at the mercy of the factory on timing. If it can be done, though, they are going to try to have at LEAST the exclusives ready for me by BotCon.

 

I would definitely look to pick this up at Botcon if I haven't already by then.

 

Oh neat... so they're roughly 11$ per. Might only grab the 4-pack for the time being though...

So I have preordered mine, and it was $110 for all 3 sets. A freaking steal compared to what everyone is charging for the Takara exclusives. Ten "Mastershooters" for 11 bucks each as opposed to 50 per "Micron". A no-brainer.

Yes, they will. The G1 Targetmasters used standard 5mm peg holes.




Also, just to make sure the breakdown so far is clear:

The four-pack will be available at as many shops as choose to carry this set of figures, so you should be able to pick from at least a few options for where you get it. However, only Captured Prey is giving a free Mega-Gun or Brown-King with the four-pack.

The Pinnacle/Firebox and Nit-Picker/Firebrand two-pack sets are exclusive to Captured Prey.

The Automated Robots and Deceptive Constructs three-pack sets are exclusive to BigBadToyStore.

Further exclusive sets MIGHT be announced as other stores pick up the product, if they choose to do an exclusive.

 

Maybe they are followers of Primus?  

 

I preordered them for now. I'll wait and see what the final product will be I'm not hoping for much since these will be fairly small figures. But I've been impressed with how Fansproject and Headrobots have handled such small scaled figures so i'm willing to try.
I don't know what i'm going to do with 10 target masters though. Guess I'll have to plot this one out.

 

So i preordered 2 out of the 3 sets. I just wish I new who these guys were all supposed to repreasent so I cld pair them accordingly. Does anyone have a breakdown of names as compared with there orginal counterparts? Or are these supposed to be all new characters?
