Hemsworth wouldn't be bad, as long as it is Chris, and not Liam.

give him the battle ax instead of the sword too! :lol  he can keep the thor hair!

    Heh, right?

The ironic thing is how much Beast Master 2 resembles the Lundgren MOTU movie, with the trip to (then) modern-day Earth.

LOL and yet, it still manages to be a better film. AND still more accurate to He-Man. lol

idk how ironic it is, but i guess that what happens when you produce a direct to video sequel to a movie that came out 9 years before. lol you end up with masters of the universe as your plot. but yet, you still manage to pull it off better!

why? The Rock is getting good at being an actor.. anyway i'm not casting the rock, but the actor that play he-men (not prince adam) need to be rip..

but it's no fun seeing he-men all the time.. plus is not like prince adam is a bad character.

and i want to see this done in live action... it would be really cheesy, but i dont care XD

Has He-Man been cast for a new movie?

"My Goal: Take off 30 pounds of lean muscle and get a whole new physique to get ready for the movie HeMan!"

Look at his body. He's gorgeous.

Yeah he does look like he'll fit the role of He-Man quite nicely. Now if he's able to bring out the character in his acting would be another thing to see.

The guy's definitely ripped...no denying that! Can't wait to see those MASSIVE thighs in lavender pantyhose, lol.

I just hope the timing of this "announcement" coming so closely on the heels of the failure of Jem isn't suggestive of Chu still helming the MotU movie.

I was all for G.I. Joe: Retaliation...until I actually SAW it. Suddenly, the first movie didn'tlook so bad anymore and WOW that's really saying something.

I never really cared much about Jem but if its dismal failure helps ensure Chu never takes a massive shit all over a beloved '80s franchise again then I say ALL THE BETTER.

He has never done a major role before, so I am highly skeptical if that's true. It's also possible though that he is getting ready for another movie and was just joking that he looked like He-Man. I think Joe Manganiello would be a great choice because he can act, and he's in excellent physical shape (plus he's a good Pittsburgh guy, but that doesn't really have anything to do with He-Man, but it's another reason I'm a fan of his). He doesn't have another big franchise either.

If you're going to play two different personas, a sufficient amount of acting skill is required.

Unless it's like the 2003 series and prince adam is just a kid who turns into an adult. Then they would need to cast a kid in that role.

True but it'd be nice to have a decent actor who is ripped.

True he is gorgeous, ripped, and would probably turn a straight man gay, but who is he? Has he done anything? Is he any good?
Maybe he is just talking about getting ready for the audition?
It's rare that an actor would leak something like that before the studio, goes to show his inexperience if anything.

Honestly, I don't mind McG as a director. I like Terminator Salvation, and the Charlie's Angels movies are guilty pleasures. This Means War could have been better, but I didn't think it was awful either. He is a better producer though.
