Hey guys, just wanted to share a custom commissioned and conceptualized by a fellow member and friend Cascadia, not to be confused with lightning storm( another fan made seeker) stormfront also possesses the ability to control lightning, keeping this notion in mind I used a ghost starscream mold as a base and airbrushed light coats of metallic lacquers plus a coll lightning effect across his body, taking advantage of the clear plastic within I added removable Led transmitters for his wings and inner canopy section to make his lightning power more convincing, his null rays also feature an individual Led and battery pack to have the light up feature via on/off switch, sadly my I'm not so great taking pictures in the light so the Led feature might not come across as bright in the pictures aas in real life, anyhow I hope you guys like this concept, I personally think it's truly awesome! pretty sweet man! like the light from within...it adds a cool touch to the null rays....the lightning pattern is awsome too
I have Stormfront in my collection. He is an extremely nice looking figure in real life. I wish I can take pictures to show the LED feature that we came up with...the figure is something else when he is all lit up. Thank you for bringing this character to life, bud.
love the phazing touch to it that allows the lights to shine through. Its like a Phazon suit Samus Aran. Pure awesomeness
I dig it. I really like the lightning effects. Would look a lot better if the wing flaps were turned down in robot mode.
Cass, Thanks for making me a part of these truly inspirational concepts it has been an honor! thanks man, and I agree with you 1000% bring on more seekas!!! LOL I know, I really think the light adds that extra touch of raw lightning power to the figure! thanks! thanks! tough luck! LOL metroid fan huh? stay tuned. and thanks! thanks! thanks man! and yeah I know I know, "put the wing flaps down" I will keep that detail in mind for future seekers.
The feeling is mutual, bud. You have done wonders with them. Thanks...just showing a bit what the figure looks like with the wing flaps down. hehe.
That is some of the most fantastic mural painting on a figure I've ever seen! (I have to call it that--it just embodies that concept!) It's not just painted on for the sake of it--it really SELLS! I just can't describe it; this is more than just "professional." I don't think we'd ever see work like this on anything official. This is too awesome. Totally love it!
between the lighning efect and the way you got the body set up to light up internally through the see through plastic parts it and the paint job it almost looks liek hes powering up to go super saiyan pretty cool job all and all nice
HOLY MOLY and just WOW!! This is the most beautiful 'Stormfront' with lightning I've ever seen---and in the South we see quite a few!! (jk) The LED's and the lightning effects as well as the intense blue really make this stand out, Ghost Starscream has never looked better..maybe it could be a Ghost Stormfront. Amazing work, conception..and fantastic paint apps too!
Thank you...Stormfront or 'Stormy' was my Ghost Starscream, which was my first MP. Both Storm and I felt it was best figure to do this with. He is very cool figure in real life. I know that there are a lot of lightning storms in the south.
