I'm sitting here looking at my Masterpiece Thundercracker...my first masterpiece...and I can't decide if I want to apply the stickers or not. Both the clean and applied pictures look good. Which one do you think looks better?

this! it all comes down to whether or not you ever intend to resell it, if you do having an unappiled sticker sheet is a + if your not gonna sell it or can'ty for see your self doing so apply them

Use Reprolabels whenever possible, if you mess up you can remove carefully and re-apply. Anyway, I hardly mess up, I use a flat edge tweezer and just take my time. I love what Reprolabels did for my MP-04 Trailer. :D

I did, because I thought the wings looked a bit bare, plus with MP Starscream having pre-applied wing stripes, the other two would look off if they didn't have them.

You have to be very careful about them, because the sticker stock used for the MP Seekers is very thin, and is pretty easy to screw up.

I apply mine carefully, and that's all you need to know.

Completely agree. I think both Skywarp and Thundercracker have enough detail as is and don't really need the stickers. The paint jobs Takara used (especially on T-Cracker) are amazing.

If you have the funds, just buy the US edition when it comes out, and have one without, and one with heavier paint apps. Course I also don't have a steady hand, and am pretty obbsessed with getting them perfect, so I stay away from stickers as much as possible.

Wing and tail fin stripes, yes. Makes them look G1-accurate, consistent with Starscream, and breaks up the plain blue/black look.

Adding any other stickers is unnecessary though.

I agree with Swoop. Wing and tail stripes only, no Decepticon symbols or any other jibba jabba. Keeps it classy.

All of my MP Seekers are un-stickered. I like the subdued, toned down look of the basic colour scheme. Thats just me though.

For my MP Megatron and MP Grimlock, I haven't.

I don't even remember if there are stickers for those two.

I usually mess with new figures. If after awhile, they look too plain or bare, I add stickers. Otherwise, I leave them alone. Just depends on my mood. :D

OP, a couple of months ago I was in the exact same position you are in, with Thundercracker as my first MP (still my only one), and debating whether or not to add stickers. In the end, I decided not to, as I felt that he looked just fine without them and that if I messed up on the stickers, he was going to look like crap.

If you aren't 100% confident in your ability to neatly apply the stickers, and if G1 accuracy isn't that big of a deal to you, I say leave him as is.

I applied the wing and tailfin red stripes with the con logos on the wings. I'm very happy with it, though I was sweating getting the stickers just right.
