The Hasbro version has cheaper quality throughout.

Actually, the Hasbro version is considered more durable by most. Ask most of the people who have cracked Takara versions. There was some cracking on the US version, but nowhere near as much. I have both, and have cracks on neither, though I do feel more comfortable transforming the Hasbro version

    EDIT
The US version also stands easier as well. At least when I compare my two.

Nice video review! I just got mine from TFSource, and after transforming him a few times I checked this video out. I didn't know about the black tabs on the wings that peg into his back, thanks for pointing those out.

Also, thanks for letting the viewer know about the alterations you did. Right up until you explained it, I was thinking, "Were there two versions of the toy? What's up with his hip/leg kibble?" You're right, the modifications do improve his look quite a bit. I'm definitely going to have to look into that.

A few thoughts on the review itself:

I don't know if you have access to any editing software, but the pacing of this video would be vastly improved by a few cuts here and there. I don't think it really needed to be ten minutes long, a good chunk of which is you fiddling with the sticky bits of the transformation.

Along the same lines, having a script before you sit down would also help. Doesn't have to be word for word, but having a rough outline of the points you want to cover would help keep you on track, and keep it shorter throughout.

Finally, I want to hear a real review/wrap-up at the end! Give me a numerical score and tell me why. Seems like you had some trouble with the transformation... do you feel comfortable transforming him? I feel like some of the fiddlier parts on him might break if I try to force them.

    Thanks for the review!

I don't think "lack of a numerical score" is really a valid criticism.

Wait, are you CRITICIZING my criticism?

    Whoa.

    That's pretty meta, right there.
