If the rumor is true that Skywarp will indeed be anime accurate via Takara's version, I wouldn't be too surprised if they're also releasing this anime accurate version of Starscream. It would make sense for them to do for everyone pissed that Skywarp looks "correct" and MP-03 doesn't.

Call me crazy, but I like the colours on Japan's offering much better. I pass.

Hopefully WalMart will sell it online like they did with the BB vs Barricade & Robot Heroes exclusives...

I love the crown on the side under the cockpit. Awesome touch.

BAH! Exactly what I was thinking. Walmart in Canada almost never picks up the US exclusives.

You forgot #4 the mistransformed legs!

Yep that is why I got Anniversary MP Prime without battle damage. However I'm sure I could fix MP SS.

Got mine for $25. Was waiting for $20 but they took too long.

Is this going to be made out of the same plastic as the Takara version? I think that's the aspect I hated the most. The plastic felt sooooooo brittle.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but if this is a walmart exclusive, will it be coming over to the UK as walmart own ASDA, one of our supermarkets, and I think G1 accurate Starscream would go nicely with the original masterpiece. I will be buying it when its reduced however, my wallet can't be that beaten.

That is something that has to be asked Hasbro, or if not, someone who knows about Wal-mart exclusives making it to the UK generally.

The fact that the hinges are black plastic suggests that they purposely made them out of more flexible plastic, which in turn suggests that a more durable plastic will be used overall.

AFAIK, no WM exclusive TFs have ever appeared in Asda.

I wonder if Hasbro will do Thundercracker and Skywarp as well, or do I have to buy the Takara Skywarp and cross my fingers for TC. Regardless, this is a must buy for me. I was tempted by MP-03 many times.

Note to people outside the US - even if your nation does not have Walmarts, its down to your local Hasbro to offer this toy to other retailers that are in your country (and down to the retailers accepting, of course). An exclusive made for a retailer in the US does not neccessarily HAVE to be sold at that retailer, especially if the 'original' retailer passes on it.

For instance, here Target and KB exclusives have appeared at Toys R Us.

Hasbro UK are full of shit, though. They'll probably blame Hasbro in the US for determining what they are allowed to sell, which sounds ridiculous.

The battle damage is what makes it really great.

So true! I can't wait to get my hands on a couple of those G1 Anime Starscream.
