Btw, the sweet TRU-girl was telling me how surprisingly lucky I was to have SW in stock today. The usual "collectors" were somehow absent today and that they're usually camped out by their store around 8am to clean out stuff like SW before 11am. She guess coz the truck just came in an hour or so ago and that word hasn't leaked out just yet.

Just went to a local TRU here in SD, the kind lady said they had 10 of them in stock this morning, but they were cleared out in hours. Damn. Only place that has them left in the city only has 2, and they are on hold for someone. Lame. She also said they probably won't get more until the first. Well, hopefully they all went to collectors and not scalpers.

 

Not really, he's the same size as mp 10 and roughly the same price. Yes he has all the cassettes and accessories but prime came with a huge brick of a trailer that made up part of his price, all the cassettes combine don't come close to matiching that if you want to base price on the amount of plastic. I would have though he'd be more than the seekers because of the tapes and be $100. Still not a deal breaker, if I find one I'll grab one

There's far more engineering and higher part counts in those cassettes than Prime's trailer, surely that's where the extra cost is coming from?

 

Hopefully all stores stick to one per person so everyone can get one. With the BOGO though, you can get Acid Storm for $40 if you buy Soundwave.

I guess I don't base value and price on the volume of plastic in the box.

SW is not on the usual TF shelf and aisle. Only AcidStorm is on the shelf.

I had to ask one of the TRU-reps in-store for SW to get it from the back. They will only get you one, too. One SW per person or something.

However, they actually will offer/remind you of the ongoing BOGO promo. I'm guessing they're prolly thinking AS will shelfwarm on his own like TC.

Well I didn't see Acid Storm, unless someone really liked Acid Storm and bought them all up. So I assumed Soundwave wasn't at my TRU either. But thanks for the tip for the next visit!
