Finally! One down, 11 more to go! After more than a year of planning, buliding, molding, casting, and then building and painting, Snarl is finally done. He has tested just about every skill that I have in my tool box, but the good news is, my learning curve improved greatly through the project. This means, not only have the other builds been going much faster (I have 2 more finished, and 4 more near completion,) but he helped me clear a lot more hurdles in my plans for the last 2 Dinobots. Fully transformable, no parts-forming, G1 faithful weapons, and an opening chest plate that reveals a missile battery. This guy was 90% scratchbuilt in styrene, then molded and cast in resin. The only part that I needed to scavenge from another figure was the waist/thighs area. I needed a strong ratcheting hip and thigh pivot to help hold the weight of the rest of the figure. Cybertron Prime fit the bill. Looking forward to getting through these guys, so I can be more active again (have a lot of patient folks waiting on these, so my free time has been focused on getting my commissions done.) Enjoy the pics, and let me know what you think!

Big thanks to Z for the hands that I am using on these guys! Saved me a ton of time!

    Freaking incredible!

Some lucky folks that got one of these guys from you :D

Was it particularly difficult/easy to mold and cast these guys?
I did notice you had casts that were in white resin, for future endeavors may I suggest using resin that can be tinted? It may save some time and cost in the painting department :)

Fantastic! The effort you've put in really shows! He'll look EPIC next to Grim and Swoop. Comparing him to your original Snarl, you were already awesome, but you can really see your growth!

Excellent work, that dino head is killer! You really nailed the styrene work, can't wait to see the next two dinos!

(and I can't wait to pose it next to Swoop and Grimlock. :D  )
