Wonder if the ends of the wrist are meant to be grey ?? Or if it was a mistake !!

Coz it'd be kinda useless to mould it in either color just to paint one panel say purple for robot mode, or grey for the truck mode ???

And that generic grey plastic looks pretty average for the bumper !! The least they could've done was give it a quick spray of that dark silver to match the decorative silver line that runs the around the middle of his truck mode.

Looks good, but is it worth the asking price ??

Preorder cancelled. Paint job not working for me. I like the trailer though.

The blue on the hands/legs/head of the official remind me of YOTH blue... I do prefer the KO.

Same here. After seeing the KO, the colors definitely don't do it, and they couldn't match the sideways Autobot symbol on the real thing?

Yeah, the trailer is cool but it doesn't justify the price.

My guess is that they probably could have matched the sideways Autobot symbol, but with the molded-in symbol on the shoulder already, it would have made for a redundant symbol on the same side of the cab (as the KO indeed has). I can't really fault Hasbro for making a decision to avoid that redundancy.

It's hardly SG Prime's most important feature. Even FP's own second attempt at an SG Prime (using the 2010 RtS mold) lacks it.

    YMMV, of course.

I know literally nothing about SG (well i can guess this is a reverse universe, so not quite nothing) but that's a repaint seducing me. I might gladly bite.

I don't know or care about SG either but I do love Authentic MP-10 repaints. So I'll be getting this.

That's OK, you don't have to buy it.

Seeing those comparison pics between the KO and the official, I'm sad to say the KO does indeed look better (to me). The redder purple, the more desaturated blue-grey on the legs, the dark chest stripes and grille, the extra crack detailing and printed details... all of it better captures the SG Prime look. I do still like the sickly green of the official's transparent bits, but otherwise the KO nails the deco more strongly.

I'll still be getting the official; I want to support more SG repaints. And it does still look good in its own right. But given how much better the KO looks, I'm kinda tempted to get both.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. I paid for the official and recently got the KO. I believe you'll be able to find the KO too later on since I'm sure there will be others who will be selling theirs. I've found a MP-10U from Chimungmung when it was supposed to be all sold out everywhere. :)  Then that way, you can be doubly delusional like me :D

    Well... there's that then.
Nonsense... a true MP-Collector supports all MP Releases. In fact, he not only has to buy one, he has to buy five.

Is this an exclusive release or standard?

It looks cool and all, but I couldn't drop that much for what is essentially, a "what if" universe figure. I'm happy for those that want it, though. If I could get it for cheap, I would definitely consider it.

That looks great, can't wait to add this to my collection. I'm a sucker for the MP-10 mold and can't pass up an official release
