I had to hunt for the three that were supposedly in the store. There was no shelf space for them, not even a price tag. I had to walk around and eventually find the box on top of another area of the store. When I pulled it down there were only two but that means I got my Roddy with 20% off. The other one may have been hidden or it may have walked off...

 

That's what I did yesterday. The 20% off coupon really helped since TRU is a long way away for me (100 miles one way) so with gas it was like $70 which would be close to the regular price plus shipping. It was so worth the trip.

I had the backpack problem at first until I found a way to solve it. When pushing in the light grey piece to hold it together keep your finger there and use your other hand to pull down and out on the dark grey hinge that is connected to the transparent blue part the backpack is on. It should be fine after that.

 

Can someone post pics of MP Roddy with the stickers on in car and robot mode?

I'm done looking for this. I got Offshoot from a new friend here on the boards, so I'm just waiting for the new Takara MP Rodimus now.

 

Found 2 of them at my toysrus and passed on both. No interests in any of them. They were 65.99 each.

I think I might pick one up if they are still there to trade for a loose complete marvel 19 inch galactus dark version or a spawn 12 inch figure loose complete from the pose of issue 95 cover. If anyone wants the trade pm me. If not I will just used it to trade or sell later on. I may need some sdcc joes as well. I will go back to see if they have any left.

I'm selling one on EBay for $70.00 plus shipping( I paid 59.99 + Tax = $65.00) I think thats a fair price. I did the same thing with grimlock. Some people are going to give me shit, but there's lots of people that don't have the time to go TF hunting everyday.

My TRU had a sticker on the shelf but no stock. I asked a guy to check, and he said they didn't have any, and I thanked him and figured that was it. Then he tracked me down later in the baby section and offered to check the computer to see if any other stores had any. That has to be the best customer service I've ever experienced in a retail store. Normally I'm made to feel like I'm inconveniencing somebody by asking to check stock. He ended up getting the manager to do a "phone order" with a store about 4 hrs away, where he gave the other manager my shipping and credit card info over the phone, and it's coming to me via FedEx with free shipping. I didn't even know they could do that. It took awhile, because the manager at the other store apparently didn't know how to do this and the manager here had to walk him through it, but in the end it will save time not having to keep checking. That's assuming the other store actually ships it and doesn't botch it up. But anyway, some of you having trouble finding Rodimus may want to ask about this option.

 

Rodimus Prime hits Dallas TX stores!!

Hey guys I'm new to the forum, I found 3 of them at my local Toys r us in Dallas TX and bought 2 one for me and my son it's easier to call them with the item #

 

I nab one today for 56.00 after the coupon. Reg is about 70.00 w/ tax. I'm surprise that they still had 7 left.

 

How is it that some of you are paying $10 more than some of us? Thought they were all the same retail price?

 

Nope... even in L.A., different stores have different prices. Depending on locations, the pricing is not the same.
Similar to Walmart.

 

Walmart does the same? Sucks! Well target is pretty good here. I mean the gi Joe sky strikers were 35.00, compared to toysrus 1 min away for 44.00 each.

 

The local comic shop has a couple of these for $75 each. He said I can have them both for $150 and he'll cover the tax if I take both. Anyone want one for $75 plus shipping?

 

and tax is different in different states too.

 

In Tennessee it is 9.75%, so he is actually making me a decent deal.
