BBTS since Im technically in line for one with out being charged for one. If I change my mind, I can cancel the preorder anytime. When it finally does come in and Im charged, Ill still have 15 days to change my mind and cancel order for store credit refund. Biggest pro for me is having my order secured if for some reason everywhere sells out. Not to mention shipping is like 8 bucks since I already have a pile of loot developed.

I won't be pre-ordering it from anywhere. $200 is too rich for my blood. I will simply wait for the Hasbro version.

And about the hasbro version.. US skywarp failed pretty bad.. Big production with shitty distribution. Grimlock will probably be going down the same path before long too.. Ill bet my buffalo nickel youll see 50$ hasbro grims next year and no more US mps.

This kind of thing does worry me. So many mps have been clearanced in the us... whos going to gamble on another one? I honestly think it depends on how well the grimlock mps sell overall.

Unfortunately, you forgot that all post-Prime death Transformers is a bizarre fever dream from the guilt-ridden, deluded mind of Hot Rod.

    Bay-Formers included.

I have a pre-order @ Automaton already, however, when I saw that Amiami has it on for $60 less, I figured WOW, cancel my pre-order and go with Amiami ! Then I looked up shipping prices for Amiami, and saw that's it's going to cost $50 or more to get it shipped from Japan   plus there's surely going to be customs charges because they can't mark it down in value. So there goes my savings :rolleyes2  I decided to stick with Automaton as they've been good to me already.

    PASS.

Nice MP figure. Neat to have Hot Rod and Rodimus in one figure. But in all it's engineering, I dont really want to pay more than $60 for it...

Great homage to the G1 cartoon. Almost perfect! Nice paint apps, too.

Here is my list of negatives:

    1. $200 + is WELL over my TF budget

    2. No space for a battle platform / base

    3. Bot modes are to similar. G1 toys were VERY different.

    4. FANS PROJECT PROTECTOR! Not as clean and smooth, but I love it!

Nice try, Takara. But to late...

Maybee I'll buy the Hasbro version. If it's ever produced...

Preordered from BBTS. With imports and customs fees etc etc, screw ordering ftom Japan.

Also Rodimus didn't really defeat Unicron, the Matrix did. He managed to toss Galvatron down a pit. Hell Optimus did more heroic as a zombie than Rodimus did in season 3.

I went with Kapow for two reasons. Firstly, the import tax is crazy here, so even with a cheaper cost you have to add that and the increased shipping cost (Kapow is free), and thats forgetting about the extra hassle of over-seas shipping (time, missing packages, etc). Secondly, because I want to support Kapow. We have precious few decent stores in the UK, and I want to support not only the ones that we have, but also the ones that are any good. Andy and Kapow have helped me out on several occasions, and you cant buy that kind of service, so it keeps me loyal.

AmiAmi. I would have to pay the customs fees anyway, so why pay twice? Also, I'm expecting the shipping rate to be quite similar to the one I would have had to pay from the US.

Had to go with Big Bad Toy Store, I know they're reliable as I've ordered from them before, I haven't ordered from any other websites.

I'm sure I'll go with BBTS. Can't wait for it's release, gotta start saving up for that hefty pricetag now!

I'm going with hlj. Ordinarily I like to go with amiami for my import purchases, but I've heard stories about them not getting enough Transformers in stock to meet pre-order demands before. So, since I have a 10% off coupon at hlj (provided I wait until after the early bird window closes), I'll be placing my order there. I just have to hope that demand isn't high enough for it to fill up all the preorder spots by October 23rd.
