I can 100% concur (with VERY good sources) that no TRUs in the North East have these even in their regional warehouses yet. 2 weeks from now is the estimated time for most TRUs in the North East part of the country. There will also be 2 distinct shipments of MP Prime to the TRU warehouses, one now, and a larger one at the middle to end of November. This is why there was such a delay in his release, they upped production as he was slated to originally be a limited release of 20,000 units.

So, the manager at the Exton TRU was pulling your leg.

 

I have a feeling that in NYC, it'll be at least 10/15 before Optimus shows up. There are still at least 40 to 50 TCs sitting around pegwarming at the Times Sq TRU. Looking at how weak our economy is right now, and how many people are out of work, I think you should be able to get MP Optimus by the armfuls at TRU. I can't see too many people in this climate, besides collectors, wanting to shell out $100 for one toy.

Damn, that store must be huge (yes, I've obviously never been to NY, haha)! I don't think they could even fit that many TCs in the entire action figure aisle at my local TRU!

There's alot of factors to be considered....for one thing, its not just any TF....It's OP...yeah, the pricetag is tough...but who knows...some might just overlook it since it OP!!!!! and holday season around the corner.....this is being set up for a big event (good or bad)...TRU in Times Square is probably the biggest store in the country....which will obviously get a big chunk from the warehouse....so Im pretty sure....regardless of these factors....OP might sell well...just hoping the fans get them more than anyone seeing a $$$ making opportunity....its only fair we collector's get something we would really appreciate from Hasbro for a change...

Optimus MPs starting to pop up on ebay now. Looks Like Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, etc.

 

The manager at my local TRU isn't expecting to receive any because it doesn't have French on the packaging (part of the law here). Ffs it's the same garbage as MP Thundercracker he never showed either.

 

So wait.... will MP Prime be 20,000 limited or is Hasbro producing more than 20,000?
