This is a commissioned piece, using igear's "faith leader" (mini-Optimus Prime) And is non-transforming, but has light up LED eyes (controlled by an on/off switch on back) Also added is an embossed Autobot symbol on his left shoulder.

    More G1 loveliness!

I really like the pistons on his arms - I presume they are not additions?

looks real nice and i suppose its a good idea that it doesn't transform(less chance of pieces breaking off) :thumbs2:

I'm curious too... what was done to this figure to sacrifice the transformation? It doesn't look any different than the regular version (besides your paint applications, of course). Did the electronics require gutting some of the inner engineering?

I'm gonna guess non-transforming because of led light in head/power source in chest and it's need to flip for transformation

oh and it looks AWESOME as does all your work

yes. the batteries, wires, etc are in the pack behind the head. I also fused the matrix holder into place (and did a little styrene building around it) so the chest opens, and the matrix is accessible (rather than pulling those parts out of the way, and the matrix/holder flipping out)

Oh i see... i think the head is enough room for LED, battery and on/off switch, so everything inside the head, then that won't affect the transformation...

Sir, You made this Faith Leader to a Masterpiece Class. I liked the newly painted version of him. Do you also solved the quality issue of the figure? by replacing some parts.

I also sent you a PM Sir.

Say what you will about iGear, but the Faith Leader is absolutely the best-looking Voyager Class Optimus Prime money can buy. Stand this next to the "Classics" Prime, and that figure just looks downright silly. The perfect piece to stand (in scale!) with your Classics and Generations figures.

And Mike your work is awesome, has a very stepped-right-out-of-the-cartoon feel to it, especially when compared to your recent DOTM Leader Bumblebee, which has the exact same quality, except he stepped-right-out-of-the-movie.
