I'm generally not a fan of stickers in the MP line, but I'd really like if Artfire's details were stickers, honestly. The designs on him are way too slavishly imitating the original toy for my taste, and don't mesh well with the rest of the MP line's detailing (which is saying something given the recent shift in aesthetics). If they were stickers, that would allow one to refrain from adding all those extra little metallic red and yellow and blue greebly bits and keep things a bit cleaner looking.
Cool, I just noticed that Artfire uses Grapple's upper shoulders with their raised round detail, instead of Inferno's plain shoulders, to match his G1 box art. I hope for consistency's sake then that Hauler uses Inferno's shoulders but keeps Grapple's biceps. If not my OCD will go nuts. I can't wait for this guy, I love a good redeco. And Targetmasters.

Looking at the big amazon pics it seems like the majority of the waist may be paint but the feet / shins / lower bumper / and some other colorful detailed areas are indeed stickers

Somehow i forgot the potential artfire for this mold, i know only inferno and grapple. Ill get this guy since the mp inferno have been well received i may pass on grapple tho. Cant imagine what fans will say if they decide to use this mold for hot spot luls that would be interesting tho.
Really? Looks like a couple of the stickers are peeling at the edges like the yellow license plate and the yellow round sticker by his shin.
Yeah, in the photos they're surely stickers. But in the actual product they'll be painted. Often these stock photography even feature their faction symbols as stickers because they're mockups.
I hope this new dandruff printing process turns out to be durable! Yep Takara seems to drag out the trusty granite backdrop for the official photo shoots around the time they start appearing in shows and magazines and it's often the same prototypes. I particularly remember noticing the Ultra Magnus in Amazons official pics having exactly the same paint chip that was seen on a painted grey prototype at a show, but touched up. UM official pics were also done just before they changed the colour scheme of the lower legs so even the box art pics had to be photoshopped!
Just noticed! Debating between this or the MMC one. Official versions has my favor and MMC's targetmaster looks like garbage. But like how different and toylike MMC's looks.
It's been a day already and full listing now. They finally even have pictures. But nope. Still a no go. I don't think they'll change that weird and sudden non-delivery to US on MP37 (and others): I chatted and emailed with amzn.jp reps and even they don't know the reasoning on the sudden delivery-ban.
Well, I never said it was a guarantee . But yeah, strange he and GodBomber are still saying that. I think they're the first two that haven't been available initially. Oh well, gonna keep checking and hoping.

For what it worths, they don't ship to France anymore too. Which is, well, sad. Books, yes, so there still that. Lucky for Nippon Yassan I guess. As for Artfire... Now that I have really played with Inferno, I'm even more pumped about this guy. This gonna be a good year.
If worse comes to worse its not a deal breaker because I'm ordering GodBomber too and last I checked the Amazon jp combined shipping sucked.
