    That really is a fantastic custom, alt and robot modes being true to the original and being posable. It's beyond me why he would sell it.

    Hey Guys, that's my Mirage. I'm a member here too actually. Thanks for the comments and critique.

    What's you specific beef with the face onesock?

    As far as durability, since this custom has a styrene car kit for a shelll, it's definitely got some weak spots that have to be handled with care. For instance, I wouldn't pull on the side panels of the car (connected to the upper arms) to slide out the arms from the chest cavity. You have to grab somewhere on the arm itself.

    I used nuts and bolts and screws everywhere I could, but those side panels had to be super-glued because I didn't want a screwhead sticking out of the side of the F1 car. The inner chassis is basically all alternator parts so that's very strong. And this waist is certainly stronger than the G1 Mirage, heh.
