I just got into collecting TF's shortly before the movie came out so I'm not exactly sure whats been released.. hence my question. Is there a Masterpiece Megatron to go with Starscream and Prime?

Try typing "masterpiece Megatron" into Google, or looking in the feedback forum.

    I can't believe that's a serious question. You're goofing on us, right?

I'm just seeing mp-05. The packaging for that bot looks different than the prime and starscream...

Chill out man. If you dont like me asking a question you think is dumb you dont have to say anything.

Well, I mean, even searching on these boards will help you. It is a good idea to search the boards before posting a thread, which is what I assume MMM meant.

MP-05 is Megatron. He's pretty cool if you get a good quality one, but is intended mostly for display. He's done in a slightly different style because unlike Prime or Starscream he has to compact a lot more to transform. He's a marvel of toy engineering.

Oh, you weren't talking about MP-05? That's what I thought you meant. He's a little hard to miss.

There is no Hasbro-released MP-05. There will never be one.

Yeah there's no North American release of Megatron (MP05 for Takara Japan's version). The reason he will never come out here is because of gun safety laws.

What I meant with what I said is that the Japanese versions are MP01...MP05 etc, while the 'masterpieces' over here don't have those names/codes (the US version of Prime wasn't even called 'Masterpiece', though SS's is 'Masterpiece Starscream' on his US box). I know MP05 is still also called Megatron, thanks, but if he came out here (which he won't) he wouldn't be called MP05.

Speaking of which, I decided to transform my Megatron, and broke a connector piece on his left hip piece. It got stuck under the arm part, when I was transforming it back to bot mode :(

:lol  Ok, yeah it's not the Diakron line where red sunstreaker, black ironhide, and blue trailbreaker were called 'DK-1', 'DK-2', and 'DK-3' (no real names) respectively.
