Megatron should have a big head, IMO.

 

Oversized head, danty feet, small chest. Not very imposing.

 

Whether this is TTomy or 3P, I really love how this Megatron turn out compare to the 3 previous releases. His proportion and design just look perfect in my eyes!

 

So..... Yeah, I was actually starting to consider one of the 3P Megatrons... Good thing I didn't do anything stupid! For me, official will always trump 3P when it comes to Masterpieces! Let's hope Hoist and Trailbreaker are next so we can nip those in the bud too!

 

This made me cry for 5 minutes... In a finish like that, this will be the best Masterpiece to date.

Very nice looking mould but I'm concerned it'll get a flat toon grey/off white colouring instead of silver.

 

The problem isn't that the head is too big, look at his face, it's the perfect size. The problem is that they went toy style for the top of the helmet, and he looks like he's wearing a bonnet. Hopefully this is better on the other two faces, as the top of the helmet is part of them.

 

Whoa,very nice looking MP Megs!!! Very clean looking and somewhat stylized. The only nitpick I have is the pelvis seems pretty big other than that I love the head sculpt and the shins.

I take it back,looking at the digi bash Megs looks amazing!

As Titans Return has proven, HasTak is going for the throat with CHUG, too (all the Function-X Headmasters now have official toys, and other guys like Galvatron and long-requested characters). TT is aware that leaving money on the table is foolish, and even B-tier characters like Inferno and the Coneheads (awesome idea for a band name, that) are getting the official treatment. At this rate I look for Trailbreaker and his Hoist retool to hit next year too.

 

And with the slender legs means a better proportioned handle on the gun mode. 

 

Damn! 2017 is shaping up to be a very good year for MPs!

 

As others have said...regardless if this is a 3P or an official MP Megatron, i love the way this one looks and will be picking it up either way. Anyone wanna buy my Apollyon?  

 

True. When Overlord, Sky Shadow, and Sixshot are getting the CHUG treatments, you know HasTak is pulling out all the stops.

 

I really like this Megatron. I don't care what anyone else thinks, he will be my MP Megs in my shelf if it is indeed official. I think he's got great proportions, and as soon as pictures of colored samples I think a lot of opinions are going to change. All three third party Megatrons look too chunky to me, and not in a good way. I definitely prefer the more streamlined look. Now, here's hoping the transformation isn't atrocious.

 

First colour pic looks good, makes me reconsider my initial reaction which was, not so good...

 

My Apollyon has started filling out job application forms with the reveal of this leak. This robot mode is a multitudes of levels of awesomeness even some parts I did not think of... like the curvy sides of his diapers that are spot on to the normal g1 depictions.

From the pictures available I rather the proportions on this one more so then any other option currently available in the 3rd party world.

Although with other recent reveals I do hope they hold off on putting up any pre-orders this year
