Why? If someone offers free shipping and it's ends up being cheaper than a place that charges shipping, why would I not compare it. The total price is more important to most people than the lowest price before shipping. Takara Fort Max is a perfect example of that. For me in the end, it was cheaper to go TCP and get free shipping after $150, then it was to get it at a lower initial retail cost from Japan and pay shipping.

Hi, heard about the paint chip issue. Just wonder in robot mode, will the installation of black scope causing paint chip at the grey paint and of right arm?

Decided to sit this one out after all. The figure looks fantastic and I love all of the photos I have seen. Just not sure I want to drop $300 Canadian on him. Glad he is finally out for people to enjoy though.

Agreed. You should compare the price that's required to get the product to you. The product will not drive, fly or teleport itself to you. When I hear people comparing using the cheapest price, it sounds like someone has a better use of that money i.e. savings, family needs, etc.

    Those skinny, skeletal, concave feet.

Well, they bugged me enough to do something about it:

    Let's call them "overshoes."

Now, isn't that a major improvement?

I'm not being rhetorical, I'm actually looking for constructive feedback.

Not necessarily. The paint chips and scratches could be a major issue as more people get this figure in hand. Or it could be nothing. Only time will tell.

I understand what you mean but for the simplicity and efficiency I just use the terms (official and 3P) that most of the fandom uses.

Cheap, but in "slightly used" condition. ;)

No, they just slip over the feet. I think it helps complete the 'toon look TakaraTomy's obviously going for...

I can appreciate the reasoning behind the endeavor, but honestly, the 'boots' just don't fit the figure that well. They're too big and blocky, in direct contrast to the subtle and elegant curves on the legs and stock feet.
I'm also fully opposed to anything that creates parts-forming in something that has none to begin with.

It looks good! However they're a tad oversized. Do you plan to make and sell them?

Yeah, I should try and reproduce that downward curve. Thanks.

Are you ignoring the stock and silencer? :p

No, I'm just experimenting at this stage.

I think to get away with that, the dark calf covering area would have to be extended down to give him a full boot.
