Might be because of the exchange rate.

Yes you should! He is one of my favourite figures actually. Neat in both modes, definitely recommended if you can get him at a good price.

He's an excellent figure - if you're willing to pay the high price, you might be better off waiting for Hasbro to release him stateside.

Probably, no, almost certainly the best transformer yet made. One of the best toys ever. A truly excellent piece of hand-candy that holds its own amongst Bandai's best Soul of Chogokins.

Totally worth it. More than worth the price. Astoundingly fantastic and fun. Solid. Poseable. Awesome.

After getting it, $150 USD seems cheap. I'd have paid $250 easy if I knew it was going to be this good.

Yes. It is quite wonderful. Yes.

    Yes.

    YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS.

If you like Grimlock this is the definitive version of him. Price is well worth it as the figure is more like one of Bandai's Soul of Chogokin line and less like what most people expect from Transformers figures. In otherwords, this is most definently a collectors piece like most of the Masterpieces... but with more little extras that really bring it up to Bandai's SoC level. Very nice figure.

Definitely worth it. Looks amazing and has tons of bells and whistlesplay value... this is a far better TOY than any of the other Masterpieces, and holds its own against MP-01/04 overall. It's pricey but it is more than worth it.

I've been deciding whether or not to get him or Megatron. The one I don't get I'll probably get later around December but I just want to know which one I should get right now

Megatron is cheaper (un-modded) than Grimlock. Depends if you're willing to spend more now or later.

I'm a HUGE Megatron fan and I'll be the first to say get Grimlock over MP Megs. While Megs is awesome it's pretty brittle and Grimlock is just beyond amazing.

Like all the masterpiece figures Grimlock is fantastic.

I believe Hasbro said we would get Grimlock stateside (although I wasn't paying close attention since I have him). Knowing hasbro I doubt the version they release will be quite as nice as Takara's, but it shouldn't be to far behind, and I'm sure it will be much cheaper.

You know it's highly, highly unlikely Megatron will ever get a stateside release. But I definitely like my Grimlock more than my Megatron (although I've always thought that G1 Megatron's design was a bit underwhelming).

Best TF released in a LONG time. It's simple for a MP but the modes are so awesome it doesn't matter.
