Thundercracker is a no-brainer. Even Hasbro are talking about doing that one.

I won't get excited by Grimlock until I literally see some proto photos first.

If it turns out to be reliable, good news! These two have been rumoured for ages now. Still, I'm also waiting til some proto photos are released before getting too overexcited.. but I'm very interested to see how Grimlock ends up looking. Hope his bot mode is a bit taller than Convoy

I hope this isn't the "big news" that was supposed to be released today that fans were supposed to love; I fuggin hate MP figures. well, hate is a strong word... I have no interest in them.

No offense to the OP, but since we've been hearing about this for awhile now I'll believe it when I see it. Great if true though. I'll take one Thundercracker and two Grimlocks.

I find it funny that everyone hates repaints, but bitch if a Starscream isn't re-painted atleast twice in every series. Thundercracker saves me money that I will sp[end on Grimlock.

This is true, but also applies to those classic G1 characters that always demand repaints. I think everyone just hates "power-up" and "improved" paint job repaints as opposed to entirely new characters.

Prowl=Bluestreak=Smokescreen. Still pissed that we didn't get an Alternator Prowl repaint.
Inferno=Grapple. We need more of these guys and a Masterpiece would be the perfect size class for them.

Though this news is underwhelming considering we've been hearing the same thing ever since WM MP Starscream was first announced.

Nice news, but it was only a matter of time.

However, if I buy a MP Thundercracker, Im going to have to go back and get a MP Skywarp to go with him and Starscream.

Prime was toon accurate, forsaking a realistic alt mode. Starscream was realistic, forsaking a toon accurate paint job and being way under scale next to prime in bot mode. Megatron blended show and realism giving us a robot mode in scale with Prime. So really it's up in the air which way they go with Grimlock.
