Isn't the sword only about $30?

Why bother to scratch build something that's readily available?

    Well, I did originally:

BUT...even though I like the look of it, I never could get a length that I was 100% happy with (due to the particular materials I was using for it). Then we had our baby and customizing time went out the window, lol. I saw this (admittedly overpriced) CrazyDevy sword and thought I'd give it a shot.

Okay, sorry to bump a zombie thread, but I made some adjustments to MP Fort Max. I adjusted the wrist area so he no longer has "gimp hands", as somebody on another board commented. Also, I heard the complaints about the Master Sword being too small, so I bought the Crazy Devy version and painted it up to be more anime-accurate. When comparing the two, it does make a huge difference.

    So, what do you think?

payton, no need for apologies, as this is certainly the kind of thing we like to see a "zombie" thread for :)

    Again, great work :thumb

Well said. I don't know how I missed THIS, but I'm glad I finally saw it.

Fantastic work. I especially love that you removed all (or most of) the stickers for the robot mode. While the stickers are cool for the original toy as is, they might seen kinda tacky when matched with the level of detailing and craftsmanship you have on display here.

    Awesome custom. :)

This is another reason why a valid bump of a "zombie" thread is totally cool here. What is old to some is new to others. Also, it's absolutely fun to revisit an older project (yes, there is even nostalgia associated with customs!). Sometimes, that's from a fan seeing things for a first time. In this case, payton does what a lot of artists to - continually tweak a project.

Again, great work, and I'm always glad to see people enjoying the work of others :)
