He is looking very good. The inconsistency of the size and symbol direction on the wings is annoying and they didn't get his abs proper though. Still these are changes I can get over much better than things like random added stripes on Skywarp or a black nosecone on Thundercracker which has prevented me from entertaining those releases.

 

...and BBTS DO have it in stock on the release date.

 

Dirge looks good, no waist kibble. A lot more solid than Thrust and Ramjet.



Well done Takara! But why couldn't you guys be like this at the beginning?  

 

Mine arrived today from Robotkingdom, I think they put it on a fighter jet to get it here so fast. Much more solid than Thrust, his colors are beautiful in person.

 

Great to hear the QC on Dirge seems better than the previous coneheads. I wonder what the delay from TTmall is though?

 

They all do have "different" faces. Well atleast one has a normal stern face, one a growl and one a angry face.

 

The cone heads do, and it's great. The seekers all have the same one.

 

Nice! Looking forward to getting my Dirge soon! It's mind-boggling that no 3P company has yet to capitalize on the MP Seeker mold by offering new head/face sculpts with different expressions.

 

I'm surprised too, but looking at the recent upsized KO mp-11 molds with new faces I can see why they haven't. 3P faces are typically terrible. It's the main reason I stopped collecting Fanstoys Dibots. Those were godawful. All the fake Megatrons had something off but looked great until mp36 came out and showed us what Megatron really looked like.

Takara face sculpts are typically spot on. I don't understand this Sunstreaker, though. He has a bit too much character and makes me think it's an artistic interpretation like Hasui's old stuff rather than the recent toon inspired ones.

Still really dislike the underside of the wings with the ridges and big holes, but at least they're done. Of course now I kind of want to see an update to the mold >_<

It may happen, but unless it makes the Maketoys version look bad, it'll never grace my shelves.

 

Beautiful photos... but would love to see more without those horrible big bombs attached in robot mode.   Mine should be arriving tomorrow!

He looks good but Thrust is still my favourite!  

 

They look great together, but it baffles me that ramjet has white calfs instead of red to match his wings. Looking forward to getting Dirge and finishing the set.

 

Dirge looks and feels great. Very nice finale to the G1 Seekers.

 

Who is the leader of the coneheads? Is that ever made clear in any of the episodes? Starscream leads the seekers. It was always my impression that Dirge leads the coneheads, but I might have made that up, as I owned Dirge as a kid and my brother had Ramjet, so mine had to be the leader obviously.
