[I've got several WIP's going on right now that are a combination of commissions, potential eBay listings, and pet projects. MP Cop-Tur is one of them and I've filed it as a personal endeavor.]

I bought this junker Courageous off of eBay last week. I noticed that the head and torso (with a few mods) would make a great starting point for a Masterpiece scale Cop-Tur.

Thanks. I'm going to snap some photos of it next to some of my MP's, just so everyone gets a better sense of the scale.

Can anyone recommend a good source for larger scale toy helicopter parts?

You can get replacement blades for an RC helicopter for a decent price, and then just make your own pin for the rotors. Maybe from like a nail or something?

That would get you some larger blades.

I can measure the length of that blade when I get home since I've got that rc helicopter.

    Also a matching tail blade:

It looks like it is about to transform into a Vegas slot machine.

Thanks. I remember seeing these generic GI Joe wannabes at TRU and Walmart and I see these large lights and sounds military vehicles. I've felt the plastic on some of them and they seem pretty solid.

That could work too. If you want though let me know and i'll measure those blades, Might be cheaper than a GI Joe wannabe helicopter. :)

I'm not opposed to any help or suggestions, so measure away.

I may need an MP junker like Prime for the arms and legs.

That will totally work! Cop-tur was my first Go-Bot so I am looking forward to seeing this one.

Heh, when I bought this, I said exactly the same thing in bold just before pulling the trigger.

This toy has a lot of stickers on it. Although I know how to remove them, it's going to be a pain.
