A portion of Acid Storm's auction (on ebay this weekend) will go directly to Red Cross; to aid those effected by the recent tragedies in Japan.

I wanted to continue with Masterpiece Seekers (and there are more to come) with this : Acid Storm.

He started as a Masterpiece Skywarp. Went to TOWN with melty effect (in fact, I think possibly a little too much)

To change things up a little, I remolded all (6) wings to give him a more unique appearance. I also modified the rear tail wings so they sit on his lower legs, rather than his hips.

What's cool about this paint job is I mixed and infused House of Kolorz "glow in the dark" paints to all paints used. "Charge him up" in the lights, hit the switch and this guy lights up. I went even heavier on the acid effected areas.

The corrosive effect you've applied is brilliant. It also gives me the heebie jeebies.

Holy Jesus Balls! I think I like this one more than Sunstorm and Ice Storm. He looks really melty. The only thing is, he must be terrible at using his ability if he's melting himself. Anyway, fantastic as always.

that first picture almost looks like he is staggering towards you. really awesome paint job and that corrosive effect looks just amazing. it seems like acid storm is so corrosive he's on borrowed time and knows it. so he plans on taking as many out with him even if it means stumbling about. love this, it definitely has a reptile vile

Beautiful custom once again. When you say a portion, exactly how much of the final bidding price is going for donation?

    thanks.
I am unsure, gotta talk to the "real boss" when she gets home from work, she handles all the bills, etc. Plus, as of this morning, my jeep refuses to start; so that kind of stuff will play a big factor on the % going to charity.

I'd like to do 50%, though 25% sounds more appropriate. Besides, I actually have 2 more charity auctions for the Japan relief, one is w/ the awesome dudes at procustomizers.com

    yessir. thanks.
That's the fun part. Can get pretty creative, no limits to them.
I wanna do more customs with a subtle camo to them, I think it sometimes jazzes up the paint job, imagine very dark gray bones and skulls on a black base painted scourge or NP....
