So with all the 3rd parties coming out with slightly different combiner sizes I thought I'd knock this together quick so we can all get a view of how each figure will scale together.

These heights were taken from various places with measurement to the top of the head. Obviously someone like Bruticus with tall shoulder might have a taller over all appearance

Any heights you want adding just pop a message in here and I will add it.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I think this would be better suited to include pics of the actual figures rather than a bar chart. Especially since combiner heights can vary depending on the users’ A-stance set up, limb extending cheats, mods to fix, add-ons to improve, etc.

Also, it’s difficult to tell what you’re specifically measuring to for each combiner based on the graph you put together. OS’d KO predaking taller than OS’d KO bruticus seems wrong (especially based on your statement of “to the top of the head”). So, what are those values you’re indicating measuring to, between the two? Shoulders vs height of a particular setting of the wings?

There’s other suggestions I have for improving the graph itself, but that’s probably due to what I used to have to do at work years ago.

Aesthetics, spelling and readability aside, the main thing (IMO) is to make sure the sources of the data you’re representing are correct.

Oh, and the OS’d toyworld throttlebots and the OS’d CW KO (and arguably OS’d tfc KO’d) superions should be included in comparisons.

That's actually not a bad idea. Wouldn't be very hard to grab pics of each from threads or the web and drop them onto the chart, resizing each to fit.
That That would actually make a really useful tool.
Obviously it's going to be an estimate at best due to differing stances, poses etc but still be a great idea.

Agree pictures would be grand but I'm not always in front of Photoshop. I do have excel to hand all day though.

As for Jinbao Predaking, the Height does seem off but I can only go buy what measurements are available, I'm not hand measuring these but taking them from the threads here. If someone has an actual measurement I can change it easily.

This was nothing more than to give a rough scale for the various combiners kicking around to see who can stand with who

As a reference, here is KO OS Warbotron next to Takara UW Devastator. They are pretty much identical in height at top of the head (perspective is a little off due to camera angle)..

This is perfect! Thanks for building it.

I, for one, prefer the graph. Once you start scaling pictures together in photoshop it would lose the clean and easy readability.

I'd also like a size comparison of Voyager, Legend, etc. because all I know is MP, and don't wish to buy a figure that size up with the scale of the others in that line, or is smaller than what I was expecting.

Prevents me from looking at other figures not getting a bead on size comparison, though video reviews do help.

Unfortunately, those are actually price points rather than sizes. They often do fit into rough sizes within a line, but you will find that a deluxe form Classics may be significantly smaller than a deluxe from Generations. Hot Rod is a good example.

Awesome chart. Pretty sure Zeta's combiners are 50cm like Constructor though?

Edit - DX9 Gabriel is 57cm to the head/61cm to wing tip. Not sure what your yardstick is.

Referring to figures from Combiner wars and Titans return, a voyager is about MP carbot size, a leader is about MP10 size, a deluze is between a carbot and MP Bumblebee and a legend is a bit shorter than Bumblebee. In numbers, legend is about 10cm, deluxe about 14-15, voyager about 18 and leader about 23-24.
