decnt review. Nice figure. BUT...The reviewer mentioned a piece in the baggie with the instruction and never got back to it.

All in all a potential buy ...any size comparisons?

Size comparisons can be found here: Mastermind Creations

The little piece is the baggie is the visor that he was shown with in earlier photos. Also, it looks like the Matrix can be removed.

I think my favorite bit of detailing is the revolver-like chambers in his gun. The lance scares me.

I wish I could afford that release right now. :(  It's pricey but I just love the oldtimey aesthetic.

My only beef with the review .... is that he called it an Early 19th Century Industrial Look ..... when the 19th century is actually the 18 hundreds from 1801 - 1900.

Looks OK, but something about the aesthetics of it don't seem right to me.

If they ever decide to do a Hearts of Steel Shockwave however, I'd be all over that.

    Question:

You pointed out many times that the drawings of Optimus Prime have a knight visor, and that "you have to put it on" the actual toy. I kept waiting for your review to do a facial close-up. Exactly what did you mean? Did you mean the knight visor was an extra piece that you have to glue on? Was it an accessory that comes on and off?

I am very surprised how big this figure is. I was expecting it to be smaller. I really like this figure... too bad it's expensive. I might get it in a few years.

That looks pretty cool. I really like how they incorporated a lot of his G1 aesthetics and coloring into the locomotive design. The shield and lance are especially neat.
