II know this... MMC has learned a lot form the first release. Not saying this piece will be perfect, but it will be high quality!

And heck, I will do the first review and show who much pressure it will take to brake it. Then I will melt it, then I will BLEND it!

    HOLY SHIT.

If that monster is anywhere close to $100 or less, I will have to seriously consider buying him, despite my pleas of my poor, crappy budgeting skills.

$60 or less and he's bought, no question, since that's getting close to existing Leader Prices anyway, and for a Shockwave who is clearly Leader class size (and no stupid gimmicks, either!) he'd be worth every cent.

Ha.. well... while 60 bucks would be amazing, the KM-01 who is standing in front of him, and like half the size, was like 100 bucks. So I'm thinking this guy will be a little bit closer to 160-200 or more. But that's just my guess!

Actually, I believe he DOES have such a chain! I saw the thing in person last night, it was truly a work of art. As for price speculation...this figure is obviously not going to be less than $100, but I seriously doubt it'll be more than ~$160. I can't wait to see how it looks painted!

Nice. But too big for me. I need a voyager sized Shockwave for my collection.

He looks amazing. $120 - $130 price point sounds like a decent guess.

As for the size, I know he is big but that shouldn't be an issue with making KMC go head to head with him. Afterall it has never stopped Prime from smacking the bigger guys before.

If we look at the later incarnations of Transformers (movies, animated etc.) for example, Megatron was usually larger than Prime and it didn't make a difference.

You know what they say, the bigger they are the harder they fall! :D

He's only a bit more plastic than a KMC as all of him is robot where as only half of the KMC toy is a robot the other part is weapons and trailer parts. I bet if you put them next to each other in vehicle mode they'd be a very similar size.

I hope it won't be in those colors. I'd much rather prefer the steel gray with purple hull and accents of the original art.

And I hope they include two interchangeable heads with this. I still like the unused concept best, and it'd look amazing on an actual toy of the design.

While, I'm kinda neutral on the unused head, I do hope they include an extra head too, just so I can have that option.

These designs are from from an official, albeit alternate continuity, 4 issue comic series IDW put out in 2006: Hearts of Steel - Transformers Wiki

All of the designs are by renouned TF artist Guido Guidi.

The TFs woke up during the Industrial Revolution, at the dawn of Train travel, instead of 1984.

That's actually a good point...but I still expect this will end up being about $50+ more. KMC was $85 originally.

I hated heart of steel...alot...it was a bad comic.

    BUT!
Shockwave's HOS design has got to be the most bad-ass design to ever happen to the human race!

So when is the earliest i can get this guy?

Shockwave as Warship is interesting, will still prefer it's G1 counterpart of Gun/Cannon mode

Wasn't there news a little while back that the HoS comics were being re-released? If so, I'd like to get them.
