He would have to be bloody huge to be in scale with the classics, not to mention the price.

Would be hella cool to have though.

A Fort Max in scale with classics legends wouldn't be that much bigger than the original, since legends are about minibot size. To make it in scale with deluxe size, it would depend on whether you looked at it as FM being scaled for minibots, or for combiner limbs.

Even if you scale it up from the combiner limbs, you're looking at scaling it up by around 2x - that's a 4' tall toy. It would probably be cheaper to get hold of a 10yr old kid and have him cos-play the toy.

If you wanted to scale it up based on minibot scales, you're looking at closer to 2.5x / 3x, making it 5' to 6' tall in robot mode. You'd effectively be buying a house guest. A very cool house guest, admittedly, but still something the size of an adult human.

Well, the original Fort/Grand/Brave Maximus mold is the very definition of overkill. Not just in size (2 feet tall), but also a robot with guns that come out of his fists, so he can punch Decepticons with lazers.

He dwarfs even G1 Scorponok (No small figure!). A Classics/Universe version would be so boss. It would never do justice to the original, however.

So you want a masterpiece toy that's smaller than the original toy?

This reminds me of the last "why no re-issue Fort-max" thread. I said there that the basic problem with a FM was that it would be produced for the japanese market and most japanese homes are so small that he would have to fold out into a bed to justify the space.
I always wished there was a unicron toy somewhere that was in scale with G1 toys of the characters that walked around in his head. It would be the size of a small house.
