Alright, so I've noticed there isn't a post for this set, but it is its own thing so I think it deserves it.

Master Made has just began a series of busts with swap parts for their Mega Series figures. The first one is for their latest released in Apollo. Basically it's a bust of Omega Supreme but parts from the bust swap with the Apollo figure to give it a more G1 and less SD look.

I've reviewed it (it's well-made, but not really my thing as I prefer the SD head on the SD body,) and here is the video and some pics from it;

 

Wow. That's actually awesome for those that prefer a more G1 look!

Its also a smart play on their part  . Cool idea, but gonna pass and leave him in SD form, I'll accept him just the way he is, because thats what life is all about, accepting people for who they are, and if he is SSD, then so be it  

 

Does the alternate head have any of the gimmicks of the original? Lights, facial movement, transformation and such.

Not my thing, so I won't be getting it, though. Still a wonderful looking upgrade set. Right now I'm think I'm most curious about the price... Even though I'm not getting it...
Kinda bugs me that the torso doesn't do anything. I mean, you're going to buy this for the head/wings, so you'll end up with a torso just sitting there. I haven't watched or read the review yet (only checked out the pics), but can you store the original head and wings on the bust torso?

I'm wondering the same. Someone just left a comment on site stating a hope for $50 and honestly that's a price that feels "right" for this.

 

Great upgrade. With that upgrade I will gladly move this Omega Supreme to my legends shelf. Wonder if there will be upgrades for metroplex & trypticon.

 

How does this and Apollo scale with the War In Pocket and Iron Factory figures?

 

Okay, that kit does look cool! I'm still waiting for TF Source to get it in, but looks like I'll be adding that kit now too!

 

Waiting to see if my local supplier will carry this or not, but he told me that it will be a minimum of 45 USD, so could be more potentially once duty / tax / shipping / etc sinks in

I wish this was more readily available, such as on ebay. As a whole this is the Omega Supreme for me, size and details are fantastic, but it is getting hot expensive. Wish it didnt come with the exta chest, just the head and hose and rails, and cheaper.

 

I know it's not transforming as such, but Master Made seem to also be producing 3rd party Metal-Slug-inspired vehicles. I'm really interested in them, is there anywhere a thread/discussion can be held?
