I got a massive sunburn on my back 2 days ago and now it's itching like hell. I feel like rolling myself in a bed of nails. Thanks for reading.

I admit it was a poor attempt at getting rid my farmer tan.

Farmer's tan, huh? Wow. That really does fill in some pictures, but maybe too many.

I did that once when I was in Texas for a few weeks for work, man it sucked, every time there was a break I'd run in the bathroom and take my shirt off.

Yikes. Most of Texas is so damn humid that you sweat so much your clothes stick to you. When you DO get inside it takes awhile for you to truly cool off. I love my dry heat.

Here, in "Tuzkin," we'll be above 100 degrees all week long. All week long. Yikes. Thankfully, we do cool down into the 70s at night.

Sunburns suck. I one time got one so bad on my back that I had to go to the hospital. I ended up getting these huge blisters...gross.

I once went a week at a lake without any sunscreen. My sunburn was so bad I had to go to the doctor after I got back and was diagnosed with 3rd degree radiation burns. Had to spend the next two week inside changing bandages every few hours and covering my back and shoulders with a medical cream I was given by the doctor.

It's been over a decade since then and I still make sure I have sunscreen if I'm going to be spending more than a few hours outside.

First of all, you need to put aloe vera all over your back. Another thing you need to do is have a wet washcloth put on your back in intervals so to take the sting out...
Put moisterizers on your back that promote healing..

Poor guy...take care of yourself and make sure that you don't run a fever, okay??

I should be wiser... I rarely put lotion, I hate feeling all greasy and sticky... but I guess that beats feeling all sick and weak from skin cancer... :s

Hope it's not sun poisoning. Will drive you insane.
Mild painkillers like Tylenol 3 work well.
They say use Aloe but that did'nt work when I had it when I was a kid.
