These figures, I'm sure they're delightful... but I refuse to pay over 30 bucks for something the size of my thumb. Won't do it.

What was the original preorder price for them? In another thread, someone mentioned the price increase, but not the actual #.

$10 boost. I got an rc in pink on preorder for $89.99. Highly anticipated release for me.

    I hope it does well.

Yeah I pre-ordered pink and blue at $89.99 each. A little steep, but that's third party pricing for ya.

Go look at the Hercules mega thread and consider how many people spent over $600 on that.

    That's how.

How about 20 bucks for bigger size versions ?

    chimungmung Toy Shop

Shows you how manipulative pricing is in the world of KO third parties.

The upgrade kit is practically incomplete without it.

not comparable at all. those herc bots not only are larger (voayager size) but have teh additional play value of combining into hercules...each cost the same as this tiny little deluxe arcee. i'd say herc was a steal compared to this arcee. This arcee would sell like hotcakes at $45, at $100....sorry no deal. i once said i'd pay up to $50 for it...i'd stretch that maybe to $65 but $100...no deal.

$60 would be okay. I don't understand why it needs to cost too much more than FansProject's ninsecticons.

you all do realize this is the same group that brought us 2.5 inch figures for 35-40 dollars. a high price was to be expected.

Compare shipping costs too if you're going to do that. Shipping from Asia is much higher than within the US. Domestic retailers incorporate that into their cost. Though they do apparently just jack it up even more because they feel like it.

The bigger sized versions are utter crap though. There's a few folks that tried to mod them... but well, their threads state how frustratingly bad the KOs are.

IMO PE's stuff is way overpriced. Such tiny-scaled Legends/Targetmaster figures for 30$ a pop minimum?

Only got the Ultimate Form on TFSource because as a set the price seemed a bit more reasonable... but the quality was subpar. I had to get an exchange for the Sun because a spring pin was sticking out and stressing the plastic on the figure... and the Rewinder figure's paint apps were either missing or misplaced.

While I think the Rumble/Frenzy guns look awesome... I don't think I'd buy them for 70$. No way.
