While the paint dries on Megatron.... here is the next project I began last night. He will be highly articulated but not transformable. Ultra Magnus put in front for size comparison.

nice G1 style scrapper transformation with the arms as devastator's heels. is he going to be heavy? cos most of the construction models are made from flimsy plastic and you may have to reinforce them.

Well.... some think the scale is to big, but it is something I want to make.

It started out as a "let me see what I can find". Then when I found out hard hard it was to find construction vehicle models, I wanted to get as many as I could. The hardest to find was hook.... and it cost me a pretty penny.

    Thanks guys.

Yep! I am going to try to stay as true to G1 aesthetics as possible, with an updated flair. And yes.... I am reinforcing EVERYTHING. There are several bold already placed and hidden the the pictures above.

i will be watching this with full of interest....this is quite 1/24, 1/25 scale vehicle...im searching the hook alt vehichle almost 2 half years now and dint find any in big scale...the biggest scale around for such crane truck is 1/70 and 1/32...i think the best way to get hook in alt mode is to built your own...by resembling available truck and excavator parts

beside Kingbots massive Devy..i think this will be the best action master massive devy ever made..and it is in wise MP scale...because of the details of alt mode you choose...really cant wait to see it finish dude:wink:

Thanks man! Your are right about trying to find a suitable model for hook. All I ever found were big heavy diecast models that were either to heavy or to small. My local hobby shop guy game me a recommendation on a non-construction vehicle that a similar base model to the boom crane. That is all i will say at this time..... until I show him. :sly2:

When all is said and done he could stand 30-36" tall. EEK!

I love it too!! I just wanted to do something BIG!

wonder if 1/32 would actually be okay and keep them "in scale" with each other

very impressive though..are you looking at the traditional 6 bot configuration?
