    OK all,

So that time has come. The FE line is officially dead. Or is it? The Hasbro response states that if interest is high, they will revisit the line.

So instead of raging on here, rage on your e-mail. Well, don't rage on your e-mail. Just send Hasbro Client Service e-mails nicely stating your displeasure at their cancellation of the FE line and how you would like them to reconsider it.

If we all sent an e-mail instead of raging here, maybe they would understand and maybe, just maybe there would be enough of us to get something released at least on the HTS store or something.

    What do you say?

I'd say pestering them at Botcon might be more effective. Or, I dunno, maybe the botcon dudes who post here could maybe get in touch with somebody.

Completely agree with you on the uselessness of raging in the forum though. I guess dudes have to vent off however, eh.

As others have pointed out, if the FE toys haven't made it to retail, that is much more to do with the retailers than with Hasbro.

I'm not really into the e-mail a complaint thing, myself. I'll vote with my wallet by not buying the RiD line. That's enough for me.

I just don't think something like this will work. This ranks right up there with online petitions.

There is an e-mail us at Hasbro.com.

Well, in their e-mail response they did say if there was interest then they would revisit this. How else to show interest? They actually asked for fan interest. Who knows, they may need these e-mails to prove to vendors that fans want that line.

All the existing orders from the various collectors retailers did not generate enough business for them to release these figures.

How many signs do you guys need to see there is not enough of us to have any real pull. Being bitchy about it will not help at all

What's done is done and making more threads isn't gonna change things

This is the right mindset! Don't buy toys you don't really like and still complain about them. Even though I happen to like most of what I've seen of the RiD toyline, and plan to buy several, I couldn't agree more with this man. Be consistent, vote with your wallet and hasbro will understand. And even if they don't, you get to keep your money; they aren't forcing you to buy anything.

This is honestly the first time I am quite upset with Hasbro. Every other fan whining before this seemed unjustified, but for some reason this situation really feels like it's calling for something like fan emails.

I just don't understand what is going on. These FE figures were already produced weren't they? Why are they not being shipped out to BBTS, TFsource...?

I wish I could do the same thing by asking will there ever be a Deluxe DOTM Mirage. But they will never answer that.

I kinda call BS on this. Yesterday there was 176 Voyager dual pack preorders. Now there are 39.

Sorry, that is a shit load of 4 packs right there. Not to mention that online retailers 4 packs also dropped down as well. Just wasn't looking at those numbers.

That means NOTHING!! hasbro production orders are in the 100 thousands of case units and your talking about them selling hundreds AFTER fans frantically ran to secure these toys from somewhere

So your saying that selling out at a retailer doesn't warrant sending said retailer that stock?

The stock does exist. Ask Canada.

I could be mistaken, but the Canadian packaging was in English. Not French/English.

Not to mention Canadian deluxes had the same packaging.

Well, partially. It seems more that the problem with the FE actually comes from Hasbro not making enough to meet the demand.

    Umm....no
Canadian product has to be in trilingual packaging
You can clearly see the first edition tag on the side is different than the u.s. versions

My FE Starscream would prove otherwise. I don't have the packaging anymore since I'm not a MIB collector, but it was undoubtedly an American package. No Takara-Tomy stickers anywhere and only in English. It was sighted and bought right away at TRU in November or December. I don't really know what's going on but the stock SHOULD be somewhere. From what I understand from the TRUs in my area, they only ever got one or two cases per store, and that was about it.

It couldn't have been that they weren't made. They have to be sitting SOMEWHERE, really. It seems the case that TRU just didn't order a lot, but instead decided to focus more on the movie line.
