Well I pre-ordered my copy in my local game store. I've read somewhere that other stores offer the Inferno Armor. I doubt I'll get that armor either since the store I bought it from is not a major retailer like Best Buy or Target.

 

I'm going to avoid this thread. I've already been spoiled by the E3 coverage and accidentally seeing things in last months GI.

I will say the beginning was absolutley epic. Just crazy insane.

I ended up going back to my level 59 (accidental) space racist save file. I some how ended up with Liara on my level 60 good guy (for me atleast) play through when I really wanted Ashley.

 

So far my good guy is level 59 and it is in my second play threw of the same save. How do you achieve level 60?

 

I hate reloading space guns

I have been trying all day to log in and queue up my Terminus armor, but the website keeps borking up.
Why can't I just get it through the Marketplace like everything else?

 

I had no problem when my guns would overheat. I would just switch my guns.

 

OMG

so i got the PC version in the mail

trying to deal with EA's customer service is a FREAKIN NIGHTMARE
their website is useless and the wait to talk to a customer service rep is at least half an hour
wtf are they doing??? do they only have one representative or is there THAT many people having trouble with their games

im gonna rip their hair out

 

I used to make my Sniper Overheat in 1 shot on Purpose. Then again it had that huge damage massive heat bullet type, but it ripped stuff, was to much fun.

And f'n Best Buy got me slow ass shipping on my pre-order, game is still in IL, and I live in WI, bastards.

 

I had a high damage one shot Shotgun and Sniper rifle in part one and just rotated back to my assault rifle whenever i needed cover.

My gripe is limited ammo in areas like the meeting of Archangel.


My basic assault rifle can hold 400 bullets while my good rifle holds 90 

And you cant swap during combat due to the items section being gone.

I've been on the phone for about an hour waiting to talk to a customer service representative and i'm pretty ticked

What i'm gonna ask instead is if they can give me the Terminus armor code for the xbox. i'll just tell 'em they sent me the wrong one [because it has happened to another guy on their forums. obviously it wont be too far outside the realm of possibility]

i'm not even gonna tell 'em they sent me the wrong version cuz frankly i'm not gonna wait long enough for me to send it back to them and have them send me the right one

i just checked best buy and they have the collectors edition in stock so what im gonna do is see if they'll trade me straight across

i'll have my game. hopefully i'll have my pre-order bonus if EA ever ANSWERS THEIR PHONES

and i'll have gotten the collectors edition for only $50 [because thats how much EA charged me for this stupid wrong game]

take that ea. you really suck

 

I made it to 49 on my first play through and 59 by the end of my 2nd. I hit 60 not to far into my third playthrough, it is possible to get to 60 in two but requires a lot of work. The two DLC packs help a lot too.

The only reason I played through a third time was to negate the fact I pledged to support the Anti-Alien guy's bid for election during my second game.

so i went to a local store and traded my PC collectors edition in for an xbox one

i may still bug EA for the Inferno armor but right now, i almost dont even care.

I was on the phone for almost 2 hours waiting to talk to somebody

i dont ever want to deal with them again

 

I hear you. I was on hold for 1.5 hours with no answer after sitting in chat queue for 35 minutes only to be disconnected with 2 minutes left. I am not happy with their lack of customer service right now.

 

Wow, I suppose I've been lucky in getting everything without issues.

 

Sigh I still have to wait until Saturday night/Sunday all day to play the game. A friend of mine invited me to a video game party on Saturday, but I doubt I'll go. He's not THAT good friend and ME2 will be on the mind when being surrounded by all them Xbox 360s. Dam you ME2 for being so awesome, but I love you for it.

 

Grunt is my new favorite character behind Tali of course.

Only one small complaint.... I'm not a fan of the new planetary scans, and the fact that so far I can't explore random planets, and it looks like we won't get a vehicle for ground missions. Hell I even miss the awesome artwork of planets you couldn't land on, but they provided you with an awesome image of the planet.

I like that now you can fly your little ship around (ala Starflight), but now the planet exploration lost out.

Maybe it was boring for some folks, but I loved exploring far out places.

 

is there a way to quickly switch between weapons like in ME1?
