I tried to make the title funny.... didnt' work out so well.
WTF, that is a crappy statue.
What's the issue? People need to grow up. I watched a 'news' story on this last night. ugh
comics? sexist? you dont say!
apparently these people have never seen an anime statue....
I don't remember people whingeing about the Marvel Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
LOL! That's a good one! Anyway, this kind of merchandise is expected because its males make up the bulk of comic/toy sales. But anyway, that statue's HOT! Too bad, I'm not into statues! LOL!
Hey, at least she's wearing underwear.
Or, like...read a comic. Spider-Man or otherwise.
How is that any worse than say this http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/naughty02.htm
It's only an issue because people are ******ed. That's it.
Ugh, people need to grow up and stop taking everything too seriously.
I could pleasure myself to that in a pinch. No problem here.
In before ban.
I'd hit it
Waaaaiiit a minute, comics totally exxxagerate female proportions and portray them as crazy hot?! Rogue and Catwoman, why aren't you OUTRAGED???? Comic girls more often than not kick a55 anyway-at least in mainstream ie Marvel and DC books.
I think the only remotely offensive thing besides the price is that she's portrayed as doing Spidey's laundry and somebody could argue that she's being relegated to an old homemaker gender role. Then again, doing laundry isn't sexist, so there goes that argument.
Its the Spidey movie...that's why this issue regarding the MJ statue was blown up.
It looks like they were too busy adding love to her body that they forgot to sculpt her face properly. Seriously, what the Hell?
I think he was going for a retro MJ face. At least that's how it looks to me.
it's a statue based off the art of Adam Hughes and based on the comic book version of Mary Jane. The look is based off the old John Romita version.
